Abstract: Systems and methods for generating an application profile repository that comprises application profiles. These application profiles may indicate the likely processes executed by a given application as well as the usage metric signatures for those processes. Additionally, the application profiles may indicate the dependencies between applications. To overcome the technical issue of some application profiles being missing or incomplete, the application profile repository may comprise a first set of application profiles corresponding to applications with known dependencies and a second set of application profiles corresponding to applications with virtual dependencies. These virtual dependencies may be determined based on comparisons of the applications, their processes, device usage metrics while the processes are being executed, etc.

Abstract: An optical device includes a metasurface formed by a metasurface substrate having at least a first metasurface layer made of a first material and an array of pillars extending through the first metasurface layer. The pillars are made of a second material different from the first material. The metasurface has a first face and a second face opposite the first face. A first anti-reflection stack is positioned over the first face of the metasurface. The first anti-reflection stack has a third face and a fourth face opposite the third face and positioned over the first face of the metasurface. A metal trace has a portion which is exposed at the third face of the first anti-reflection stack.

Abstract: A non-inverting buck boost DC-DC converter operates with a ripple-hysteretic-current-mode-control including: a first state where control signals close a first high side switch and a second low side switch; a second state where control signals close the first high side switch and a second high side switch; a third state where control signals close a first low side switch and the second high side switch; and a fourth state where control signals close the first low side switch and the second low side switch. Control signal peak voltage and valley voltage are detected. Passing between the first, second, third and fourth states is dependent on peak voltage detection, valley voltage detection, expiration of a variable first time interval following entering the second state, and expiration of a fixed second time interval following entering the third state.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for generating and assigning resources based on timestamps. A plurality of permission messages associated with a plurality of authorization events may be received with each permission message including an authorization timestamp indicating a generation time of a corresponding permission message. In addition, a plurality of data records may be received with each data record including a corresponding plurality of parameters. Based on the permission messages and the data records, a resource multiplier is generated, and resources assigned to each data record are multiplied based on the resource multiplier.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a digital circuit with N number of redundant flip-flops is provided, each having a data input coupled to a common data signal. The digital circuit operates in a functional mode and a test mode. During test mode, a first flip-flop is arranged as part of a test path and N?1 flip-flops are arranged as shadow logic. A test pattern at the common data signal is provided and a test output signal is observed at an output terminal of the first flip-flop to determine faults within a test path of the first flip-flop. At the same cycle, the test output signals of each of the N?1 number of redundant flip-flops is observed through the functional path to determine faults.

Abstract: Purchasing, maintaining, and deriving revenue from mobile autonomous units is facilitated by providing a mobile autonomous unit marketplace in which equity shares in mobile autonomous units can be bought, sold and traded. Valuation of mobile autonomous units within the marketplace can be a function of a variety of factors such as the mobile autonomous unit's primary geographic region, and the number, diversity, and time management of revenue streams available to the mobile autonomous units.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for estimating one or more hemodynamic parameters such as cardiac output or stroke volume. Embodiments are based on the concept of incorporating information about vascular tone into hemodynamic parameter estimation to improve accuracy. More particularly, embodiments use a measurement of a time duration for a blood pulse to travel from the heart along a certain length of an arterial path as a proxy measure for vascular tone, and incorporate this into hemodynamic parameter estimation. Embodiments are also based on incorporating vascular tone proxy measurements for multiple different arterial paths to take account of vascular tone variations between different portions of the circulatory system.

Abstract: A non-SI device is arranged for wireless communication and cooperates with an SI device having access to a subscriber identity. The non-SI device has a transceiver to communicate in a local network and a processor to establish an association with the SI. A non-SI public key is provided to the SI device via a first communication channel. A verification code is shared with the SI device via a second communication channel. The channels are different and include an out-of-band channel. Proof of possession of a non-SI private key is provided to the SI device via the first or the second communication channel. From the SI device, a certificate is received that is related to the SI and comprises a signature computed over at least part of the non-SI public key. The certificate reliably enables the non-SI device to access the core network via the local network and a gateway between the local network and the core network.

Abstract: Techniques are described for a behavioral analysis of metadata associated with source code to identify malicious source code. For example, this disclosure describes a computing system configured to obtain metadata associated with source code of a software package. The computing system is also configured to determine, based on the metadata associated with source code, whether there are any anomalies associated with the source code. The computing system is further configured to, in response to determining that there is at least one anomaly associated with the source code, compute a score for the software package. The computing system is also configured to perform an action based on the score for the software package.
