Abstract: The systems and methods may use one or more artificial intelligence models that predict an effect of a predicted event on a current state of the system. For example, the model may predict how a rate of change in time-series data may be altered throughout the first time period based on the predicted event. However, as noted above, correctly predicting the occurrence of outlier events (e.g., the predicted event), and in particular characteristics about the outlier events (e.g., when an outlier may occur, what may be a source of the outlier, what rate of change the outlier may cause, etc.), in data-sparse environments and based on time-series data presents a technical challenge.

Abstract: A blood pressure monitoring device includes a patch including two inertial measurement units placed adjacent to the skin of a user. The blood pressure monitoring device includes a control unit coupled to the patch and configured to receive sensor data from the inertial measurement units. The control unit includes an analysis model trained with multiple machine learning processes to generate blood pressure estimations based on the sensor data. A first general machine learning process trains the analysis model with a training set gathered from plurality of other individuals. The second general machine learning process retrains a portion of the analysis model with a second machine learning process utilizing individualized training set gathered from the user.

Abstract: Disclosed are imprinting ink compositions for use in imprinting techniques such as SCIL. The imprinting ink compositions comprise TMO nanoparticles stabilized by selected polymerization inhibitors that allow for the formation of a stable imprinting ink composition in which polymerization of the TMO nanoparticles is effectively suppressed and from which high refractive index patterned layers can be formed. Imprinting methods using such imprinting ink compositions, optical devices including patterned layers formed from such imprinting ink compositions and lighting devices, optical sensors and photovoltaic devices including such optical elements are also disclosed.

Abstract: Repeated cycles each consist of a pump down phase and a holding phase, wherein a start timepoint of each cycle is the timepoint when a rise in an inlet pressure of the pump is sufficiently large and the time extending between two consecutive cycle start timepoints is a cycle time. A control method includes determining a start of a next cycle during a present cycle, wherein it is preferable that the present cycle directly precedes the next cycle. The method further includes controlling the pump to accelerate to a maximum allowed speed during the holding phase of the present cycle before the start of the next cycle such that at the start of the next cycle full pump capacity is available.

In one embodiment, in a merchant-specific cryptogram lockbox comprising at least one computer processor, a method for generating a cryptogram locally using a cryptogram lockbox may include: (1) receiving, from merchant backend, a request for a cryptogram comprising an account identifier received from a customer in a transaction; (2) generating a cryptogram for the account identifier using a limited use key for the account identifier; and (3) returning the cryptogram to the merchant backend. Abstract: Currently, there is interest in applying machine learning techniques to analyse digital pathology images automatically. Machine learning techniques often rely on training with a ground-truth image input. The quality and amount of training data determines the quality of the detector, as expressed in the rate of true and false positives, and robustness against variations in the appearance of the input images. The present application proposes to obtain image data of the same sample before and after at least one re-staining step (firstly with a structure-revealing stain, and secondly with a bio marker revealing stain). Sections of the first and second image data having a good registration relationship are chosen, along with the probability of detecting a desired candidate object (such as nucleus) and the probability of the bio marker revealing stain being present annotation data suitable for training a machine learning algorithm on the first and/or the second image data is provided.
