Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a cooling system for cooling a print medium. The cooling system includes a cooling member with a support surface configured for supporting the print medium. The cooling member has a first end and a second end and the support surface extends in a lateral direction between the first end and the second end. The cooling member is provided with supply channels and return channels extending between the first and the second end. A fluid circulation means supplies fluid through the supply channels from the first end to the second end, and back through the return channels from the second end to the first end.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for automatically determining accuracy of entity recognition of text. An example method includes segmenting a service entity recognition analysis of the text and a gold entity recognition analysis of the text into common superstrings that define entity spans. The example method further includes classifying each of the entity spans based on an accuracy of entity recognition in the service analysis of the text corresponding to the entity spans using a classification system that differentiates accurately identified but improperly bounded entities into at least three subcategories to obtain an entity accuracy classification. The example method also includes obtaining a score report based on the entity accuracy classification. The example method additionally includes performing an action set based on the entity accuracy classification.

Abstract: Systems and methods can include a provider institution accounts database structured to retrievably store data corresponding to a plurality of entities including a primary entity related to a plurality of secondary entities. The data for each of the plurality of entities may include values for a plurality of fields associated with the respective entity. A data management circuit may be configured to detect that one or more fields corresponding to at least one of the secondary entities has a value which is to be updated. The data management circuit may generate a first user interface that causes the user to confirm authorization to provide the value for the one or more fields, and a second user interface including a field for receiving the value. The data management circuit may receive the value, and update the data corresponding to the at least one secondary entity in the provider institution accounts database.

Abstract: An energy application apparatus applies energy to an object. An energy application unit applies energy to the object, wherein the energy application unit is adapted to use electrical current for applying the energy. A current measuring unit measures the electrical current used by the energy application unit and provides a signal being indicative of whether the energy is applied to the object based on the measured electrical current. The signal can be used by, for instance, a monitoring unit and/or a display unit for using and/or indicating the information whether energy is actually applied or not, without requiring a direct communication between the energy application unit and the monitoring unit and/or the display unit.

Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for interfacing a computing system to a human user. For example, a computing system may provide a graphical user interface at a display of a user computing device. The user interface may include a positive financial profile indicator at a first position on the display; a negative financial profile indicator at a second position on the display opposite the positive financial profile indicator; and a user financial profile indicator describing a user, the user financial profile indicator positioned between the positive financial profile indicator and the negative financial profile indicator. The computing system may receive user transaction data describing a financial transaction. The computing system may determine that the financial transaction worsens a financial profile of the user. The computing system may also modify the user interface to orient the user financial profile indicator towards the negative financial profile indicator.

The high voltage pulses of a pulser circuit and a high voltage DC bias voltage are both generated by a single probe circuit, which is local to the CMUT cell.

Abstract: A controller for determining shape of an interventional device includes a memory that stores instructions, and a processor that executes the instructions. When executed by the processor, the instructions cause the controller to execute a process that includes controlling an imaging probe to emit at least one tracking beam to an interventional medical device over a period of time comprising multiple different points of time. The process also includes determining a shape of the interventional medical device, based on a response to the tracking beams received over the period of time from a first sensor that moves along the interventional medical device during the period of time relative to a fixed location on the interventional medical device for the period of time.

Abstract: Systems and applications are described that use group signature technology to allow for anonymous and/or semi-anonymous feedback while allowing for the application of rules and parameters. The use of group signature technology may serve to potentially mitigate or prevent malicious identification of individuals or entities providing a communication such as feedback. Feedback may range from constructive feedback all the way to the ‘whistleblower’ variety. It may be desirable to identify the individuals as belonging to a particular group or having a particular status or position while maintaining the anonymity of the individuals within the particular group.

Abstract: Systems and methods for preventing the fraudulent sending of data from a computer application to a malicious third party are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for preventing a computer application from sending data to an unauthorized website may include: (1) receiving, at a computer application executed by an electronic device and from a first website, an identification of a second website for receiving data from the computer application; (2) providing, by the computer application and to a certificate authority, the identification of the second website, wherein the certificate authority validates that the second website is on a list of allowed websites for the first website; (3) receiving, by the computer application and from the certificate authority, validation; and (4) communicating, by the computer application, the data to the second website.
