Abstract: An image synthesis system comprises receivers (201, 203, 205) receiving scene data describing at least part of a scene; object data describing a 3D object from a viewing zone having a relative pose with respect to the object, and a view pose in the scene. A pose determiner circuit (207) determines an object pose for the object in the scene in response to the scene data and the view pose; and a view synthesis circuit (209) generates a view image of the object from the object data, the object pose, and the view pose. A circuit (211) determines a viewing region in the scene which corresponds to the viewing zone for the object being at the object pose. The pose determiner circuit (207) determines a distance measure for the view pose relative to the viewing region and changes the object pose if the distance measure meets a criterion including a requirement that a distance between the view pose and a pose of the viewing region exceeds a threshold.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for storing verified identification information in a distributed database and for verifying entities to requestors are provided herein. Identity information relating to an entity is verified by a generally recognized identity provider (GRIP). Once verified, the GRIP populates a distributed database with an entry corresponding to the verified identity information. The distributed database is publically accessible such that identity requestors can see the entries in the distributed database. In some arrangements, the distributed database is write-protected such that only an authorized GRIP can modify the distributed database. An entity can provide information to a requestor to verify an identity attribute of the entity to the requestor. The requestor uses information provided by the entity to retrieve verified entity identification information from the distributed database and to confirm that the identity attribute was verified by an authorized GRIP.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating communication between a Human Interface Device (HID) and a remote resource such as, for example, an application provided by a virtual desktop. Embodiments relate to using one or more Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to translate messages over a communication (COM) port tunnel, launching a program within the same session assigned to the COM port tunnel, utilizing client-side encryption, and redirecting HID messages to an embedded browser that is accessible over a virtual desktop.

Abstract: A cushion for use in providing a regimen of respiratory therapy to a patient includes a base that defines a main cavity therein an aperture for receiving a flow of breathing gas. A pair of nasal pillows each extend from the base, each having a cone-shaped head that tapers inward and upward from a base portion, that extends directly from the base, to a top opening. Each head is formed to engage an inner portion of a nare of the patient. Each head defines a passage extending between the main cavity and the top opening for further conveying the flow of breathing gas from the main cavity to a nasal passage of the patient. Each base portion includes an inner edge positioned near the center of the cushion that merges with the hollow base and an opposite outer edge spaced upward from an outer surface of the hollow base.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a rewards payment form linked directly to a rewards account are described. The system can determine, based on a comparison of a location of a mobile device with a merchant location of a merchant, that the mobile device is at the merchant location. The system can determine that the merchant participates in a rewards promotion and can receive a transaction request associated with a rewards account and a cryptogram. The system can authenticate the transaction request by decrypting the cryptogram and can activate the rewards promotion based on the determination that the mobile device is at the merchant location and the determination that the merchant participates in the rewards promotion.

Abstract: An approach for establishing and managing network security linkages is disclosed. The linkages may be used to facilitate management of accounts, goals, or resources of one or more entities, or to provide an integrated view of the circumstances of, for example, family members or other interrelated persons. A person receiving assistance with the management of one or more accounts need not disclose authentication credentials to persons helping manage the accounts, enhancing security. Members may view members and access accounts administered by separate computing systems without needing credentials for each member, account, and/or computing system. The multiple accounts (which may be held at multiple institutions) need not be accessed individually by each member of the network security linkage, saving time and computing resources of users.

Abstract: A tow aid system used while operating a wrecker adapted to tow a vehicle, the wrecker comprising an underlift arm extending rearward from the wrecker, wherein the underlift arm is adapted to lift at least a part of the vehicle for towing. The tow aid system comprises: axle load sensors mounted along different longitudinal positions on the wrecker, the axle load sensors generating signals indicative of loads along the different longitudinal positions; an underlift arm load sensor mounted about the underlift arm, the underlift arm load sensor generating signals indicative of a load applied on the underlift arm while holding the vehicle in a towing position; and a controller processing the signals from the axle load sensors and the underlift arm load sensor to calculate operating limits of the wrecker.

Abstract: Systems and methods for inter-service authentication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system may include a plurality of services and a cloud platform. The first service may generate a token comprising a first service identifier for communicating with a second service, and may request, from the cloud platform, a private key for the first service. The cloud platform may provide the private key to the first service. The first service may sign the token with the private key and may communicate a request to the second service with the signed token. The second service may retrieve the first service identifier and may request, from the cloud platform, a public key for the first service identifier. The cloud platform may provide the public key to the second service. The second service may validate the token using the public key, and may grant the request in response to the validation.

Abstract: A computer system is disclosed comprising a processor arrangement communicatively coupled to a data storage arrangement storing a digital model of a section of a lumen system of a patient; and a communication module communicatively coupled to said processor arrangement and arranged to receive sensor data pertaining to an internal parameter of said lumen system from a sensor within said section of the lumen system. The processor arrangement is arranged to receive said sensor data from the communication module; retrieve said digital model from the data storage arrangement; simulate an actual physical condition of said lumen system by developing said digital model based on the received sensor data; and generate an output relating to said simulated actual physical condition for updating an electronic device. Also disclosed is a method of monitoring a patient with such a computer system, a computer program product for implementing such a method and a patient monitoring system.

Abstract: Blind spots in a network system are identified and eliminated. Synthetic transactions are generated and transmitted across a network system, and at least a portion of the synthetic transactions is captured. Parts of the synthetic transactions that were not captured can be determined and employed to generate a logical security map of the network system based on the captured synthetic transactions. At least one blind spot can be identified from in the logical security map of the network system, and a solution determined to eliminate the at least one blind spot. Subsequently, the solution is implemented for the network system to eliminate the blind spot.

A method can include receiving a payment request from a merchant computer system for a transaction. The method can include authenticating the payment request by acquiring and using an encryption key transmitted by a financial institution computing system from a database that is associated with a payment account. The method may include determining the number of rewards points in the rewards account is not enough to cover the transaction. The method may include transmitting a partial authorization message to the merchant computer system including an approval amount. The method may include receiving a second payment request comprising a remaining balance of the transaction. The method may include identifying a secondary payment source to cover the remaining balance of the transaction.

Abstract: A mobile wallet computer system coupled to a merchant computer system and a mobile device associated with a user includes one or more processors coupled to one or more non-transitory memory devices. The one or more non-transitory memory devices include instructions stored therein that are executable by the one or more processors to cause operations including receiving, from the mobile device, a request to perform a transaction between the user and a merchant associated with the merchant computer system. The operations also include generating and providing to the mobile device a code comprising mobile wallet account information associated with the user. The operations also include receiving, from the merchant computer system, the code, bank account information associated with the merchant, and a purchase amount associated with the transaction. The operations also include authenticating the transaction between the user and the merchant by decoding the code.
