Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for post-quantum cryptography (PQC). An example system includes a PQC smartcard. The smartcard may include a PQC cryptographic algorithm selection circuitry configured to select a PQC cryptographic technique from a set of PQC cryptographic techniques for encrypting the data. The smartcard may further include a PQC cryptographic circuitry configured to encrypt data based on a generated set of PQC encryption attributes and the PQC cryptographic technique.

Abstract: A heat pump system includes a first bypass pipe provided with a first bypass valve and connecting a liquid refrigerant pipe and a low-pressure refrigerant pipe, a refrigerant heat exchanger configured to cause a heat-exchange between refrigerant flowing in the liquid refrigerant pipe and refrigerant flowing in first bypass pipe, a second bypass pipe provided with a second bypass valve and connecting the liquid refrigerant pipe and the low-pressure refrigerant pipe, and a controller. The controller is configured to control opening degree of the first bypass valve based on detected superheated temperature of refrigerant flowing in the first bypass pipe, and detected discharge temperature of a compressor and control opening degree of the second bypass valve based on the detected discharge temperature.

Abstract: A lock and pin for the structural and fluid tight repair of cracks not amenable to high temperature repairs or synthetic material patches. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. Often these cracks evolved due to engineering design flaws that will require even greater strength from these areas than when new.

Abstract: A method for facilitating application authentication bypass based on proximate with time using device authentication is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request from a user to access an application on a user device, the request including an application authentication request; accessing the user device via a device application programming interface; retrieving, via the device application programming interface, device authentication data, the device authentication data including a timeline of successful device authentications; determining whether the device authentication data is within a predetermined threshold; authenticating the request by using the device authentication data when the device authentication data is within the predetermined threshold; and permitting access to the application based on a result of the authenticating.

Abstract: In order to enhance enhanced X-ray image inhalation quality monitoring, a metric is proposed hat reproducibly provides an index of ribs visible to be used in the assessment of the inhalation state. In an example, a detected diaphragm in a chest X-ray image may be projected into an atlas that contains labels for all intercostal spaces, namely spaces between rib centerlines. A spatial representation of both the clavicle and the ribs is provided in the atlas, a cumulative histogram is built for all points, i.e. pixels, of the diaphragm, for every point a rib label counter of the rib in the rib label map at that point is incremented as well as all ribs above it, the rib label counter is normalized by a division by the number of points, the median (or a different quantile) may be taken of this distribution serving as an inhalation index. An objective metric of inhalation state is thus achieved.

Abstract: The described financial institution computing system provides services to customers through an application programming interface (“API”). The services include user identification services to customers. The user identification services allow the customers to verify the identity of users as non-fraudulent users. Further the user identification services allow the financial institution to provide known user information to the customers for purposes of prepopulating registration forms, completing transactions, and the like. Further services, such as user account validation services, payment services, and the like are also possible through the financial institution APIs. In some situations, users are registered with the financial institution. For example, a user may also be an account holder with the financial institution. In other situations, the users are not registered with the financial institution.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for determining and providing value information and/or boundary activation information for a system defined in an at least partially bounded domain (i.e., the boundary of said domain consisting of at least one point) and having boundary conditions imposed at a boundary thereof. A deep BSDE solver is trained by, for each time step and for each path, determining, based on a set of underlying features for that path, whether a boundary condition has been activated for the path. When it is determined that a boundary condition has been activated for a first time for the path, an output value for the path is updated based on the boundary condition, an output time is updated based on the boundary activation time step, and not updated further. When the boundary condition was not activated for the path by the final time, the output value for the path is a final corresponding value.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for authenticating requests to access one or more accounts over a network using authenticity evaluations of two or more automated decision engines are discussed. A login request for access to a user account may be submitted to multiple decision engines that each apply different rulesets for authenticating the login request, and output an evaluation of the authenticity of the login request. Based on evaluations from multiple automated decision engines, the login request may be allowed to proceed to validation of user identity and, if user identity is validated, access to the user account may be authorized. Based on the evaluations, the login attempt may also be rejected. One or more additional challenge question may be returned to the computing device used to request account access, and the login request allowed to proceed to validation of identity if the response to the challenge question is deemed acceptable.

Abstract: Systems and apparatuses for safety deposit box access using a smart table and a locker are described herein. A safety deposit box access system includes a smart table and a locker. The smart table includes a processing circuit configured to receive a request from a customer user device associated with a customer to access a safety deposit box that is stored in the locker. The processing circuit is further configured to verify that the customer is authorized to access the safety deposit box stored in the locker. The processing circuit is further configured to actuate a lock of the locker to an unlocked position based on the customer being authorized to access the safety deposit box via the locker.

Abstract: A newborn support device for supporting a newborn in close proximity to the mother is provided. The newborn support device has a support platform for receiving thereon the newborn in an almost fully supported manner. The platform is provided with an elongated slit which is accessible from a side of the platform and extends through the platform from the top surface to a bottom surface of the platform. The slit enables resuscitation of the newborn on the platform with delayed cord clamping. In another aspect the invention relates to a resuscitation device having resuscitation means connected to such a support device.

Abstract: A particular sequence of ultrasound transmissions and corresponding echo receptions enables the production of Amplitude Modulated (AM) and Amplitude Modulated Phase Inverted (AMPI) signals that are temporally balanced. Temporal balancing significantly reduces tissue artifacts caused by movement of tissue during acquisition of the ultrasound echoes. Additionally, in combining the selected echo signals to produce the AM5 and AMPI signals, and optionally a Phase Inverted (PI) signal, each of the echo signals is equally weighted to facilitate an amplitude balance that avoids different echoes affecting the produced AM, AMPI, and PI signals differently.

Relationships are derived between a plurality of the grammatical elements. At least one derived relationship is used to update a profile for a customer. At least one derived relationship is used to identify a customer for which a remedial action is warranted.

Abstract: Techniques are described for analyzing and presenting alert-based information for an enterprise business. In particular, a central device in a computer system receives alerts from other devices associated with different office branches of the enterprise business, and analyzes the alerts on a periodic schedule. For example, every month, the central device may calculate a weighted alert volume by district based on the risk scores calculated for the office branches within the district, calculate an average weighted alert volume across the entire enterprise, and calculate the standard deviation of the average weighted alert volume to determine the alert risk rating for the district. The central device may also analyze the dispositions of the alerts on the period schedule. For example, the central device may determine coaching rates and/or disposition rates by district. The central device may further output the alert and/or disposition information to users in a simple format.

Abstract: The current invention relates to methods of targeted genetic alteration in cells, preferably plant cells, as well as to plant cells and plants thus obtained using at least a fusion protein comprising a site-specific nuclease domain and a deaminase domain, or a construct encoding the same. The method also provides for a composition and a kit comprising a combination of a first fusion protein comprising a cytosine deaminase domain and a second fusion protein comprising an adenine deaminase domain, preferably for use in the method of the invention. The method provides for targeted alteration of a DNA duplex in plant cells with increased efficacy.

Abstract: Systems and methods for distributed ledger-based identity management are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computer-based method for managing attestations may include: (1) receiving, by a computer program executed by an electronic device for an identity consumer and from an identity provider, a notification from an identity provider server that an attestation is available, wherein the attestation may be generated by the identity provider based on authorization from a system operator and may include a chain of trust comprising an identification of the system operator and the identity provider; (2) requesting, by the computer program, the attestation from the identity provider; and (3) downloading, by the computer program, the attestation to an identity consumer electronic wallet for the identity consumer. The identity provider may commit the downloading of the attestation to a distributed ledger, wherein the distributed ledger maintains a current status for the attestation.

A configuration store is generated based on the user's selections, and includes a code generation strategy parameters file. The configuration store and the user selected configuration information is utilized to generate the content, such as code, data, parameters, settings, etc. When the content is provided to the programmable computing device, the content initializes, configures, or controls one or more software and hardware aspects of the programmable computing device.
