  • Patent number: 12223511
Abstract: Techniques are described for generating a set of emotion factor values using one or more machine learning models for customer communications. For example, a computing system includes one or more processors in communication with a memory. The one or more processors are configured to receive communication data of a current communication associated with a customer, apply the communication data to an emotion-based indexer as input wherein the emotion-based indexer includes a set of machine-learning models for a set of emotion factors, generate as output from the emotion-based indexer a set of emotion factor values for the current communication wherein each emotion factor value indicates the measure of a particular emotion factor in the current communication, apply the set of emotion factor values to an emotion classification model, and classify the current communication into an emotion state based on the set of emotion factor values.

  • Patent number: 12220104
Abstract: Arthroscopes and laparoscopes are available in several lens cuts to cover different clinical situations of interest, with the surgeon having to exchange the optics in order to change the direction of view of the camera. The presently disclosed embodiments disclose real-time image processing systems and methods that enable the user to arbitrarily change the direction of view of a surgical camera with the advantage of avoiding the disruption in workflow caused by the physical exchange of the optics. In addition, the presently disclosed embodiments disclose performing zoom along an arbitrary viewing direction (directional zoom) that enables to increase the scale of a region of interest without decreasing the overall field-of-view or losing image contents.

  • Patent number: 12225026
Abstract: Methods and descriptions are described herein for using user-specific parameters to detect malicious activity in an interaction by a user. In particular, the system may receive user action data representing user actions for users relative to applications. The system may generate, using first user action data representing first user actions of a first user, parameters specific to the first user for determining whether interactions of the first user represent malicious activity. The system may receive, for the first user, a request for a pending interaction with a particular application. The system may then use a first user model trained on the first user action data to identify a set of parameters for identifying the malicious activity. The system may validate the request, in real time, by using the set of parameters to generate a likelihood that the request represents malicious activity.

  • Patent number: 12223141
Abstract: An example gesture detection method includes detecting at a first time a first touch on a touch panel, where the first touch covers a first area of the touch panel, and then determining whether the first touch is within a track region that surrounds a fingerprint sensing region. The method includes determining whether the first touch is within the fingerprint sensing region, the fingerprint sensing region including a sensing surface of a fingerprint sensor. The method includes determining a first fraction of the fingerprint sensing region covered by the first touch and determining whether the first fraction exceeds a first threshold. The first threshold is a majority of the fingerprint sensing region. The method includes determining a second fraction of all of the first area that is within the fingerprint sensing region and determining whether the second fraction exceeds a second threshold, where the second threshold is a fraction indicative of a majority of an area associated with the corresponding touch.

  • Patent number: 12220273
Abstract: Perfusion angiography combined with photoplethysmography imaging for peripheral vascular disease assessment A device (13) and method for performing perfusion imaging receive image sequences that are acquired simultaneously by an X-ray imaging apparatus (2) and by a photoplethysmography imaging apparatus (3). When temporally aligned, changes in the perfusion states of a perfused organic tissue over time are extracted from the two image sequences and an image is generated for display on a display unit (5) which indicates the changes in the perfusion states at various locations of the perfused organ tissue, thereby capturing both deep organ tissue and superficial organ tissue perfusion properties. A diminution in an image signal strength in the photoplethysmography images caused by a passage of a bolus comprising a previously administered contrast agent (10) can be used to align the two concurrently acquired image sequences in time.
