  • Patent number: 12193880
Abstract: The present disclosure describes ultrasound systems configured to perform microbubble-based contrast imaging with enhanced sensitivity. The systems can enhance echo signals derived from microbubbles while suppressing echo signals derived from tissue by detecting phase shifts exhibited by microbubbles in resonance. To detect the phase shifts, and thereby distinguish between microbubble-based signals and tissue-based signals, the systems can transmit a series of ultrasound pulses into a target region in accordance with a predefined sequence. The sequence can include an initiation pulse configured to stimulate microbubbles into nonlinear oscillation, a detection pulse configured to detect the nonlinear oscillation, and a summation pulse formed by transmitting an initiation pulse and detection pulse with a small time delay therebetween.

  • Patent number: 12200433
Abstract: A line source loudspeaker device positionable in a mutually orthogonal first and a second position includes a housing with a first loudspeaker for emitting high frequencies and one or more second loudspeakers for emitting low frequencies. The loudspeakers each include a driver and loudspeaker output. Each driver emits a spherical sound wave. The loudspeaker outputs form a combined loudspeaker output. An acoustic waveguide is provided between the combined loudspeaker output and the first loudspeaker to guide the spherical sound waves emitted by the first loudspeaker over a constant wave path and convert them into a rectangular isophase sound wave which interferes constructively with the sound waves of the second loudspeakers to form a cylindrical sound wave. The acoustic waveguide is rotatable about an axis such that, in the first and second position of the line source loudspeaker device, the cylindrical sound wave propagates only in a horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 12193843
Abstract: An on-body sensing system (30) comprises a plurality of skin interface elements for coupling electrical signals to and from the body. The system is adapted to derive an indication of a position of at least one positionable interface unit (32) based on transmission of signals between the positionable unit and a set of spatially separated reference units (34), the reference units being positioned at a set of known locations on the body. Transmitted signals are sensed at multiple pairs (52) of electrodes on each reference unit and signal characteristics derived for each pair, and based on this a direction of arrival of the signal determined. By collating all of the measured arrival angles, and by reference to a reference dataset containing information indicative of known signal arrival angles when signals are transmitted internally between the reference units themselves, an indication of position of the positionable unit is derived.

  • Patent number: 12198811
Abstract: A laboratory information system (LIS) is linked with a whole slide image (WSI) management system to build a pathology image management system that can efficiently manage and utilize a digitized pathology image. A scan notification notifying that an image of a glass slide is scanned by a scanner is delivered to the LIS from the WSI management system to form a WSI link in the LIS, so that the LIS is linked with the WSI management system. By linking two systems with each other can eliminate the problem of mixing up specimens, for example, and hence, a pathologist can easily grasp the status of a pathology sample for which the pathologist is responsible.

  • Patent number: 12197859
Abstract: The systems and methods disclosed herein receive an output generation request from that includes input for generating an output using a language model. The input includes a set of alphanumeric characters associated with operative standards for a first set of actions. The system divides the set of alphanumeric characters into text subsets. For each text subset, a vector representation is determined. Prompts are created for each vector representation including the set of alphanumeric characters, query contexts, keywords, and/or the text subset. Each vector representation's prompt is input into the language model, which generates a second set of actions of related actions, where subsequently generated actions are based on prior generated actions. The system aggregates the second set of actions into a third set of actions and displays a graphical layout. The graphical layout displays a representation of the set of alphanumeric characters and the corresponding actions.
