  • Patent number: 10520613
Abstract: A medical nuclear imaging system (10) and method (100) generate smooth energy histograms. Radiation events are detected by a plurality of detectors (14), the radiation events localized to a plurality of pixels of the detectors (14). The energy levels of the detected radiation events are estimated and the estimated energy levels are scaled with scaling parameters that scale the energy centroids of the plurality of pixels to target values differing by offsets around a common target value, the target values differing with spatial location of the plurality of pixels. Target value offsets are removed from the scaled energy levels and the detected radiation events are combined into an energy histogram using the energy levels with the target value offsets removed.

  • Patent number: 10521814
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for redeeming financial rewards for cash at an ATM. A customer inputs financial account credentials into an ATM, and these credentials are relayed to a financial institution computing system. The financial institution computing system then authenticates the customer by determining whether the input credentials match credentials stored in a database associated with the financial institution computing system. Once the customer is authenticated, the financial institution computing system polls the customer database and determines whether the customer has earned any rewards through usage of the financial account. Any available rewards are converted to a cash value and transmitted back to the ATM for view by the customer. Upon receipt of a customer indication that they wish to redeem the reward, the ATM is then configured to dispense the converted reward amount to the customer.

  • Patent number: 10523723
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, a system and various components of such a system for selecting a chunk identifier in a content delivery network. In said network a first and a second chunk are available, belonging to different quality representations of a content item. A client device transmits a first chunk retrieval request for retrieving a first chunk and a further request. In response to said first chunk retrieval request and/or said further request, delivery path information is transmitted. The delivery path information may comprise chunk identifiers and bandwidth indicators. On the basis of the delivery path information the client device determines a chunk identifier to be included in a second chunk retrieval request for retrieving a second chunk.
