  • Patent number: 10482601
Abstract: An ultrasound system and method are described for acquiring a sequence of ultrasound images of the carotid artery during the delivery of a contrast agent. Plaque in the images is identified and a time-intensity curve is calculated for pixels in the images. The intensity values before and after the arrival of contrast are compared to identify pixels or groups of pixels having perfusion. An anatomical image may be formed showing areas in an image of the plaque of the intensity and presence of perfusion, or the perfusion may be quantified by determining the percentage of pixels in the plaque image which exhibit perfusion. The extent and degree of perfusion is an indicator of the risk of plaque particulates in the blood stream which may lead to stroke-related symptoms.

  • Patent number: 10482464
Abstract: Identification of anomalous transaction attributes in real-time with adaptive threshold tuning is provided. A set of historical transactions conducted during a defined time period are analyzed and categorizing into defined groups. Outlier transactions are identified and removed from the set of historical transactions and a set of non-anomalous transactions are determined. When a new transaction is received, the new transaction is automatically allowed based on a determination that the subsequent transaction conforms to the set of non-anomalous transactions. Alternatively, an alert for further analysis for the new transaction is output based on a determination that the subsequent transaction does not conform to the set of non-anomalous transactions.

  • Patent number: 10481406
Abstract: A multi-view display is switchable between single view and multi-view modes, and uses lenticular means (9) arranged over the display panel which comprise birefringent electro-optic material (62) adjacent a non-switchable optically transparent layer (60). The non-switchable optically transparent layer (60) has a refractive index (n) substantially equal to the extra ordinary refractive index of the birefringent electro-optic material (62). In the single view mode, the birefringent electro-optic material (62) defines a non-switched state, and the polarization (64) of the light output from the display panel and incident on the lenticular means is linear and aligned with the optical axis of the birefringent electro-optic material (62) at the surface where the display output light is received. In the multi-view mode, the birefringent electro-optic material (62) defines a switched state in which the optical axis is aligned perpendicularly to the display output surface.
