Abstract: A data mapping system provides a share, reusable and single mapping tool for mapping data and data lineage. The mapping system provides a version control functionality in the form of spreadsheet for tracking a plurality of mapping tasks that occur in parallel. The system allows multiple users to view the changes in mapping tasks, thereby improving data mapping visibility. Such visibility can significantly reduce conflicts between different mapping tasks that are independently performed by different teams or persons.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with entity mapping. According to one embodiment, a method comprises generating trees based, at least in part, on data. The data is associated with dimensions. A tree includes nodes that are not defined by the dimensions of the data. The method further includes performing statistical tree analysis to calculate results for the trees. The statistical tree analysis is performed independent of the dimensions of the data. A table of a composite result set is created by unionizing the results for the at least two trees. The nodes of the trees are parsed based, at least in part, on the composite result set. The at least two trees can then be visually displayed.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for managing electronic disbursements transferred from a business client of a financial institution to customers of the business client. The system includes a disbursement instruction processor receiving a disbursement instruction over a network from a business client system, the disbursement instruction processor processing the instruction and performing multiple steps. The steps include using a customer identifier to determine available payment channels for the customer and selecting an electronic payment channel when available payment channels include an electronic payment channel. An electronic disbursement notification is forwarded to the customer. A confirmation may be provided upon acceptance of the disbursement through the disbursement notification.

Each optical signal encodes a device identifier by high and low signal states in periods having granulated lengths. Each granulated length is an integer number of clock periods of a transmitter clock. The transmitter clock has a clock ratio to the predetermined receiver clock, the clock ratio being a number larger than one. At least one granulated length is longer than an integer number of clock periods of the predetermined receiver clock by a fraction of the clock period of the predetermined receiver clock, which granulated length may be detected by an asynchronous receiver clock and a detection range having only two values.

Abstract: An ultrasound system and method are described for acquiring standard views of the fetal heart simultaneously with real-time imaging. A matrix array probe is manipulated until a first standard view such as a 4-chamber view is acquired. The first standard view image is matched to its corresponding plane in a fetal heart model. From the matched plane of the heart model, the orientations of the other standard views are known from the geometrical relationships of structures within the heart model. This orientation information is used to control the matrix array probe to automatically scan the planes of all of the standard views simultaneously in real-time.

Abstract: A core body temperature monitoring system comprises a first, core body temperature, thermometer and a second thermometer comprising a heat flux sensor. The second thermometer is for application to the skin for providing temperature monitoring over time. The second thermometer is calibrated using an output from the first core body temperature thermometer during an initial measurement operation. The first thermometer is removably attached to the second thermometer, wherein the first thermometer is adapted for use while attached to the second thermometer, and is then removed when the second thermometer is to be used. This system provides calibration of a flux sensor which is applied to the skin, by using an initial core body temperature measurement. In this way, the functionality and usage of a classic core body temperature thermometer is combined with a wearable continuous monitoring capability.
