  • Publication number: 20090031839
Abstract: [Problems] A motor shaft for a micromotor where a high reduction ratio can be obtained by a speed-reduction gear mechanism and where high coaxiality between the motor shaft and a pinion can be achieved. [Means for Solving problems] The invention is based on the fact that, because a micromotor has a very small motor torque, even a pinion having a diameter smaller than that of a shaft has sufficient strength for the motor torque. Based on this, the motor shaft of the invention has a pinion integrally formed on the front end side of the shaft and the pinion has an outer diameter equal to or less than that of the shaft. Because the pinion can be sufficiently reduced in diameter, a high reduction ratio can be obtained by a speed-reduction gear mechanism. In addition, since the pinion can be integrally formed on the motor shaft, high coaxiality between the shaft and the pinion can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 7446847
Abstract: A simple-structure, small-size, inexpensive optical isolator mounted in an amplifier. The PMD and PDL are reduced to desired numerical levels to improve the characteristics. The optical isolator is composed of two double refraction elements, a 45 DEG Faraday rotator, a magnet, a lens, and a total reflection member. The directions of crystal axes of the two double refraction elements and the direction of the rotation of the Faraday rotator are appropriately set. Therefore, going-returning optical paths where incident unpolarized light is separated into ordinary light and extraordinary light, totally reflected by a total reflection member, and outputted are formed. The direction of the crystal axis with respect to the direction of the normal on the element surface of either of the two double refraction elements and the thickness in the direction of the normal on the element surface are corrected.

Abstract: A diamond scriber is ground at an angle from a tip face toward a ridgeline. Because of this, chipping is less liable to occur, even during high-load scribing of sapphire substrates of 100 ?m or greater thickness, or of substrates that have been chemically polished; further, a cutting edge of the diamond scriber has superior resistance to wear out. Accordingly, there can be provided the diamond scriber suited to substrates that must be inscribed at a high load, such as sapphire substrates of 100 ?m thickness or more or sapphire substrates chemically polished.
