The analysis apparatus comprises a plurality of first stage processing units, a combinator, and a second stage processing unit. Each of the first stage processing units performs a first DNN processing for the sensing data respectively, such that a plurality of first learning results are generated. The first learning results are combined by the combinator into a combination data. The second stage processing unit performs a second DNN processing for the combination data to generate an analysis result.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an improved system and methods implemented by the system for training a model that capable of identifying a hormone receptor status of a subject via the whole slide images (WSIs) of hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stain of his/her biopsies. The method comprises steps of: (a) obtaining multiple WSIs having known hormone receptor information; (b) dividing each of the WSIs into a plurality of patches; (c) selecting and combining the patches that express the abnormal H&E stain into a combined image; and (d) training a plurality of combined images independently with the aid of the known hormone receptor information of the WSIs, thereby constructing the model. Also disclosed herein is a method for identifying a hormone receptor status of a subject by using the method and model implemented in the present system.

    Abstract: Provided are a method and a system for automatic detection of post-translational modifications (PTMs) detection, where a depth-first search (DFS) algorithm is utilized to generate all post-translational modification combinations and respective masses thereof based on all PTMs associated with compound-spectrum matches of a biological compound, such that a mass shift of a compound-spectrum match of the biological compound generated by search engines with the open search strategy can then be processed by the system and the method provided herein. Therefore, users can validate the search results from the open search via the same search engines with closed strategy for precise identification and discovery of potential unanticipated modifications of the biological compound. Also provided is a computer readable medium with executable instructions stored thereon to perform the method of the present disclosure.

The polarization filtering splitter unit utilizes the two orthogonal polarization modes of an optical waveguide with birefringence to achieve a polarization-dependent mode splitting effect based on an adiabatic theory. The asymmetric adiabatic polarization beam splitter realizes the characteristics of integration and high process tolerance, and improves the mass production feasibility.
