    Abstract: The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating a patient suffering from or predisposed to hyperphosphatemia, which contains Mg—Fe—Cl HCln. In one embodiment, the Mg—Fe—Cl HCln is shown in formula (I). The phosphorus uptaking capacity of the pharmaceutical composition is greater than 100 ppm/(g/L). The present invention further provides a method for treating a patient suffering from or predisposed to hyperphosphatemia by using said pharmaceutical composition. The present invention further provides a method of manufacturing the pharmaceutical composition.

Part of the surface of the second section contacts with a wall surface of the second hole section. The piezoelectric actuator fits around the horn and is controllable to drive the tool to vibrate. With this design, the machining toolholder could have good stiffness and connection stability, and could resist to the stress effectively.

Because Bdph has the capability of promoting the hair growth and reducing the ?-amyloid protein (A?) level in nerve cells, the efficacy of improving the health and appearance of a subject can be achieved by administrating an effective amount of Bdph to the subject. Specifically, the Bdph has the efficacy of preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease caused by excessive build up of A? in the cells, and as an active ingredient in a topical composition, the Bdph is effective in promoting the hair growth at the site where the Bdph is administered.

The ion focusing member is adapted for being disposed in a mass spectrometer in a way that the ball is located at a spray path of analyte ions and located between a metal capillary and a mass analyzer. When the analyte ions pass through the ball, the analyte ions can be gathered at a downstream position of the ball, which in turn flow into the mass analyzer by a potential difference. Therefore, the ion focusing member of the present disclosure can effectively enhance the amount of the analyte ions entering into the mass analyzer, thereby improving ion transmission efficiency. As a result, a mass spectrometer equipped with the ion focusing member may have increased signal intensity of analyte, lowered limit of detection (LOD), and minimized detection error.

    Abstract: The present invention is a method for preparing a biocontrol formulation by the following steps. A Streptomyces bacterium is selected simultaneously with superior sporulation ability, chitinase activity and antagonistic effectiveness against plant fungal pathogens by culturing with fungal pathogens, wherein the selected Streptomyces bacterium is cultured on a chitin-limited plate to assess the ability of sporulation and chitinase activity, and the Streptomyces bacterium with superior sporulation ability is the strain with producing powder-like and maturity form spore chains. Spores from the selected bacterium is collected. The obtained spores are taken as a seed inoculum. Then the seed inoculum is cultured to directly yield a broth medium containing at least 109 viable spores/ml which the spores contained in the broth medium are well suspended. The biocontrol formulation is obtained. The present invention further provided a biocontrol formulation containing a high concentration of Streptomyces spp. spores.
