  • Patent number: 8111405
Abstract: An automatic scan and mark apparatus has a machine tool, a location detection module, a laser detector, an ink jet and a control computer. The machine tool has a movable module and a stage. The stage mounts and holds a specimen having a scraped surface. The control computer controls the location detection module to determine a position of the movable module, controls the laser detector to detect a surface morphology of the scraped surface in a measurement range, and activates the ink jet to eject inks on high points of the scraped surface of the specimen. Thus, the surface morphology is built automatically and high points are screened out and marked by colored ink. Manufacturer may easily redo scraping of determined high points based on the marked location on the specimen without burdensome measurement.

  • Publication number: 20110216450
Abstract: A transformer failure analysis system using a programmable chip in conjunction with a shock response spectrum analysis method to distinguish inrush current and fault current of a transformer and to monitor the phase of an AC power source inputting to the transformer by means of a phase detector. When an inrush current occurs, the programmable chip provides a control signal to delay the phase of the AC power source being inputted into the transformer, thereby suppressing the occurrence of the inrush current. When a fault current occurs, the control signal cuts off the AC power source from the transformer until the operator has tested the whole circuit architecture to debug and correct circuit application and eliminated the internal fault.

  • Patent number: 7666114
Abstract: An electric variable inertia apparatus uses a servo drive device to drive a planetary gear mechanism to which a load assembly is attached to provide variable and wide-ranging rotational inertia. A planetary frame and a ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism act as two input ends of the electric variable inertia apparatus, and a rotated shaft of a sun gear assembly of the planetary gear mechanism acts as a load terminal. The load assembly is rotated at a controlled rotational velocity with the ring gear to generate a widely ranging rotational inertia to change a dissipating degree of an input energy from the planetary frame. The electric variable inertia apparatus can be used in different fields such as shock absorbers, stabilizers, dampers or vibrators in the automotive field, etc.
