    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a nanodot, including: providing a hydrolysable silane, wherein the hydrolysable silane has one or more hydrolysable groups and one or more substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon groups; and performing a one-step heat treatment to hydrolyze and condensate the hydrolysable silane to form a nanodot. The nanodot includes: a core, the core is selected from the group consisting of a semiconductor core or a metal core; and a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) including the substituted or non-substituted hydrocarbon groups, wherein the self-assembled monolayer is connected to the core by covalent bonds.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a nanostructured metal oxide calcinate suitable for biosensor through a procedure of redox reaction is disclosed in this invention. The nanostructured metal oxide calcinate is free of impurities and produced with better electrocatalytic activity and better conductivity. Thus, an electrode of biosensor can be modified via the nanostructured metal oxide calcinate. The method for manufacturing the nanostructured metal oxide calcinate includes: disposing a first metal material and a second metal material into a reaction slot and making the first metal material and the second metal material dissolved within a solvent to form a mixture, wherein the pH value of the mixture ranges between 0 to 7, the mixture performs a redox reaction process for obtaining a metal oxide material; and eventually calcining the metal oxide material for obtaining a nanostructured metal oxide calcinate.

    Abstract: A transceiver with wake up detection includes a primary control unit, a transmission unit and a receiving unit, the transmission unit comprises a first logic set, a second logic set, a third logic set, a first loop, and a second loop. The first loop outputs a first differential signal, and the second loop outputs a second differential signal. The receiving unit comprises a wake up detection circuit having a first comparator, a second comparator and a fourth logic set. When the first comparator and the second comparator receive a first predetermined level of the first differential signal and a second predetermined level of the second differential signal, the fourth logic set outputs an idle state signal and a data signal to the primary control unit to make an operation mode of the transceiver switched from a low power mode to a normal mode.

    Abstract: A polymer of sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s (PAEs) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A main structure of the PAEs has a first side formed by multi-phenyl glycol monomer and a second side formed by multi-phenyl dihalo monomer with an electron-withdrawing group. The glycol monomer and the dihalo monomer are reacted with each other by a nucleophilic displacement reaction, so as to form the main structure of the PAEs. A film made of the PAEs has a better size stability under a high water uptake.

    Abstract: A fuel cell catalyst layer having sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s and a manufacturing method therefor are provided. The manufacturing method includes steps of: providing at least one type of sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s; mixing the sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s with a catalyst composition to prepare a catalyst slurry; and coating the catalyst slurry to form a film which is dried to be an electrode catalyst layer, in which the weight ratio of the sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s is 5-50 wt %. The sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s in the electrode catalyst layer can provide good thermal stability, glass transition temperature, chemical resistance, mechanical properties, water impermeability, low proton transmission loss, and a relatively simple process to shorten the manufacturing time and lower the cost thereof.

    Abstract: A method for estimating PCB radiated emissions includes providing a BCI probe and a vector network analyzer; performing a calibration step; performing a measurement step; and performing an estimation step. A transfer impedance of the BCI probe is measured via a clamping device in the procedure of performing a calibration step. A measurement-input transfer function of an object and an output-input transfer function of the object are measured via the BCI probe in the procedure of performing a measurement step. Eventually, radiated emissions of the object can be estimated according to the measurement-input transfer function, the output-input transfer function and the transfer impedance in the procedure of performing an estimation step. The present invention accurately estimates radiated emissions of the object with low cost and high speed.

    Abstract: A stand-alone wind power generation system and a method for controlling an excitation synchronous generator thereof are provided. In this method, an input wind power is transformed into an electrical power and outputted to a load. With the use of a coaxial configuration, a windmill, a speed-increasing gearbox, the excitation synchronous generator, and a motor are integrated in the same shaft. The output voltage of the generator is stabilized by an excitation field control. With the use of a motor servo control, the speed of generator can be stabilized under a wind disturbance condition. Therefore, the output power and frequency can be stable. A power flow management unit can control battery sets to charge and discharge, so as to accomplish the proposed control method.
