Abstract: The present invention provides a method for establishing a connection path by way of a wireless LAN path of a projector and a wireless LAN terminal even when the operating mode is switched. The method establishes a wireless LAN connection between a wireless LAN terminal and a projector that can operate as an access point apparatus or a client apparatus of a wireless LAN. The projector projects connection information that indicates SSID, the wireless LAN terminal receives the connection information as input by way of a provided input unit, and further, operates as an access point apparatus. The projector detects the wireless LAN terminal that is operating as an access point device by means of a site survey, and the projector then connects to the wireless LAN terminal as a client apparatus.
Abstract: A projector apparatus that can effectively reduce bending of a base plate supporting a lens shifting unit thereon and facilitates replacement of unit parts in the event of a failure is provided. The projector apparatus includes: a base plate attached inside a projector body; a lens supporting unit attached to the base plate and supporting a projection lens so as to be movable relative to the base plate; guiding mechanisms for guiding the lens supporting unit so as to be freely movable in a horizontal direction and a normal direction relative to the base plate; and fixing devices which fix the base plate to the projector body. The fixing devices include a plurality of first fixing devices provided at a peripheral edge of the base plate, and second fixing devices provided on an inner side of the plurality of first fixing devices.

Abstract: A display device includes a signal detector for detecting gradation pixel data input to a display having multiple pixels, a current detector for detecting currents supplied to at least part of the pixels included in the multiple pixels, and an output part for outputting current data corresponding to currents supplied to the part of the pixels and signal data corresponding to gradation pixel data used for the part of the pixels. Accordingly, it is possible to compare current data with signal data, and therefore, it is possible to confirm whether or not video signals are correctly displayed on a screen.
Abstract: A display system includes: a display device that transits from a power-off state to a power-on state; and a brightness calculation device that calculates a brightness setting sequence based on a humidity amount over a first period in which the display device is in the power-off state, the brightness setting sequence being a sequence of a setting value of a brightness of the display device during a second period, the second period starting from when the display device transits to the power-on state, the setting value changing in time series. The display device displays an image signal at a brightness according to the brightness setting sequence.

Abstract: A luminance adjustment device is configured to adjust the luminance of a light source of a display by controlling a drive value of the light source of the display.
