Abstract: A slot interface access device including a slot management module; a slot control module; and a physical slot to management slot contrast table, the slot management module, the slot control module, and the physical slot to management slot contrast table being provided between an input and output control module and a slot interface lower than the input and output control module. The input and output control module accesses the slot interface using virtual slot identification information. The slot management module converts the virtual slot identification information into physical slot identification information while referring to the physical slot to management slot contrast table, and accesses the slot control module corresponding to the physical slot identification information obtained by conversion, thereby realizing a physical access of the input and output control module to the slot interface.

  • Patent number: 7454172
Abstract: If a PHS wireless LAN combo is constituted in which a PHS base station and a wireless LAN base station are placed in the same case, their frequency bands are different but they interfere with each other due to an influence of higher harmonics, which decreases communication efficiency. When a PHS base station is in a transmitting state and a wireless LAN base station is in a receiving state, a transmission signal from the PHS base station is multiplied by a predetermined attenuation ratio so as to subtract an attenuated value from a received signal of the wireless LAN base station, and when the wireless LAN base station is in a transmitting state and the PHS base station is in a receiving state, a transmission signal from the wireless LAN base station is multiplied by the predetermined attenuation ratio so as to subtract an attenuated value from a received signal of the PHS base station.

  • Publication number: 20080281713
Abstract: Disclosed is a security protected transaction settlement method in performing transaction settlement of sales using a register terminal. The upper limit amount that each casher who operates the register terminal can settle is preset and registered in advance. When a casher makes settlements of the sales using the register terminal, a judgment is made if the casher can settle the transaction by comparing the sales amount and the upper limit amount preset for the casher. If the sales amount is higher than the preset upper limit amount, the register terminal is disabled and the casher can settle the transaction only if an authorization code is inputted by a supervisor who has authority to settle any account in excess of the upper limit.

  • Publication number: 20080240402
Abstract: In a CTI system, when a wireless terminal is called in response to a transmission request from a personal computer, a key telephone main unit adds to a call signal identification information indicating that a call is based on the transmission request from the personal computer. When the call is received, the wireless terminal judges whether or not the identification information is added to the call signal (step S42). When it is judged that the identification information is added, the wireless terminal automatically answers the call (step S43). Otherwise, the wireless terminal does not automatically answer. Thus, in case of transmission from a CTI application, operability and convenience are improved.

  • Patent number: 7420925
Abstract: A first wireless LAN base station is in an active state. A second wireless LAN base station is in a power off state or a power save mode. The first wireless LAN base station and the second wireless LAN base station are disposed in the same support area. When a fault occurs in the first wireless LAN base station and a communication state of the wireless LAN deteriorates, the first wireless LAN base station detects the fault and places the second wireless LAN base station in the active state. When the first wireless LAN base station confirms that the second wireless LAN base station has been placed in the active state, the first wireless LAN base station sends setting thereof to the second wireless LAN base station. When the first wireless LAN base station confirms that the setting of the second wireless LAN base station is the same as the setting of the first wireless LAN base station, the first wireless LAN base station enters the power off state or the power save mode.

  • Patent number: 7415108
Abstract: A telephone includes an upper casing, a lower casing, and a receiver transmitter. The lower casing has a pair of projecting support sections at one end of the bottom, to which a first leg is rotatably mounted. The first leg includes a rotatable and slidable second leg. In a large-angle inclined state of the telephone, first and second engaging sections of the second leg are in engagement with first and second engaged sections of the first leg, respectively. When an excessive load is applied to the telephone in the direction of the arrow, the engaging sections are elastically deformed, being brought out of engagement with the engaged sections. Accordingly, the second leg tilts onto a desk into parallel with the desk. Consequently, the second leg is subjected to no longitudinal load. Thus, even if the second leg is not strong in structure, the second leg can be prevented from breaking.

  • Publication number: 20080172742
Abstract: A system having a client (24) and a server (21) between which two virtual LAN systems are set for normal application and emergency application is disclosed. The server transmits pattern information of a harmful program to the client through the normal virtual LAN (S11). The client monitors intrusion of the harmful program based on the pattern information (S21), and upon detection of the harmful program, switches the virtual LAN from normal to emergency applications (S22). The client transmits infection information about the harmful program to the server through the emergency virtual LAN (S23). The server that has received the infection information transmits an extermination program for the harmful program to the client (S12). The client, upon recognition that the harmful program is invalidated by executing the extermination program, switches the virtual LAN from emergency to normal applications (S26).

  • Patent number: 7400576
Abstract: In the QoS control system of the wireless LAN network including the wireless LAN access points, and the wireless LAN terminals to be connected thereto, the wireless LAN access point authenticates the user on the basis of the recorded user's authentication information when the user carries out the authentication request from the wireless LAN terminal. The wireless LAN access point is connected to the servers to notify the wireless LAN access point of the information for identifying the wireless LAN terminal and the recorded user's QoS service content through the communication network. The wireless LAN access point and the wireless LAN terminal carry out the priority control in accordance with the priority information of the QoS service from the server. Even when the terminal to be used is changed, if the same user logs onto the certificate server by using the same authentication information, the same QoS service can be offered consistently.
