Patent number: 8116530Abstract: Changes in houses and buildings on a two-dimensional map are detected using three-dimensional data obtained from stereo images. A change detection device that detects changes in features that are targets described on a map has a stereo processor, a feature height calculator, and a demolition and/or new building detector. The stereo processor is inputted with a plurality of images taken of predetermined regions from a plurality of different positions, and extracts digital surface model data representing surfaces of the regions in three-dimensional coordinates. The feature height calculator extracts feature heights where an elevation of ground level is subtracted from the digital surface model data extracted by the stereo processor. The demolition and/or new building detector detect changes in the feature that are the targets described on a map by comparing feature height data and map data.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2008Date of Patent: February 14, 2012Assignee: NEC System Technologies, Ltd.Inventor: Tohru Miyazaki

Publication number: 20110205241Abstract: The edge segment setting unit (6) sets up edge data for an array of pixel divisions from the coordinates of start and end points of an edge line. The correction unit (7) shifts the array of pixel divisions on the bases of row of pixel divisions arranged in the scanning line direction by a given number of pixels in the scanning line direction. The contraction unit (8) calculates the sums of edge data of pixel divisions within the pre-shift range of the array of pixel divisions on the basis of row of pixel divisions and stores the sums in a column of contracted pixels having a width equal to one pixel division in the scanning line direction. The adjacent pixel adding unit (9) adds the values of the pixel divisions protruding from the pre-shift range of the array of pixel divisions to the column of contracted pixels of the pixel adjacent in the protruding direction. The first mask generation unit (11) generates mask data indicating the fill according to the array of contracted pixels.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2009Publication date: August 25, 2011Applicant: NEC SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES, LTD.Inventor: Kenji Akiyoshi

Patent number: 7882273Abstract: A system capable of efficiently transferring a command set for controlling an image forming apparatus to the image forming apparatus from a host apparatus. A command separate/storage unit separates an image forming command set into a context command set and an object command set, and allocates both command sets in a main memory device. A command read instruction transmission unit transmits a command read instruction having a transfer size and a storage address of each of the allocated context command set and object command set, to the memory access controller. The memory access controller compares the storage address of the context command set included in the received command read instruction with a previous storage address, and reads the context command set from the main memory device only when both storage addresses differ from each other.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2008Date of Patent: February 1, 2011Assignee: NEC System Technologies, Ltd.Inventor: Junichi Tamai

Publication number: 20100128974Abstract: To improve stereo matching speed and accuracy. An image data input unit 10 acquires image data of plural images of a predetermined region captured from plural different positions. A reference disparity setting unit 12 sets a reference disparity suitable for the plural images. The search range setting unit 13 sets a predetermined range smaller than the image range as a search range for stereo matching, by referring to points in the images between which the reference disparity set by the reference disparity setting unit 12 is provided. A stereo matching unit 11 searches out, for an arbitrary point in one of the plural images, a point in the other image that matches the arbitrary point, from the search range set by the search range setting unit 13, by referring to a point in the other image that provides the reference disparity set by the reference disparity setting unit 12.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 25, 2008Publication date: May 27, 2010Applicant: NEC System Technologies, Ltd.Inventors: Hirokazu Koizumi, Toshiyuki Kamiya, Hiroyuki Yagyuu

Publication number: 20100128972Abstract: To correctly associate coinciding positions between a plurality of images. In a case where an operator makes an operation of inputting associated supplementary lines A2 and A1 into left and right images respectively, and associated supplementary lines B2 and B1 into the left and right images respectively, stereo matching processing system associates coordinate a2 of intersection of a scanning line and supplementary line A2 in the left image with coordinate al of intersection of the scanning line and supplementary line A1 in the right image on search plane, and coordinate b2 of intersection of the scanning line and supplementary line B2 in the left image with coordinate b1 of intersection of the scanning line and supplementary line B1 in the right image on search plane. Hence, the stereo matching processing system 1 can redress wrong associations on search plane and correctly associate coinciding positions in the left and right images.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 25, 2008Publication date: May 27, 2010Applicant: NEC SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES, LTD.Inventors: Hirokazu Koizumi, Toshiyuki Kamiya, Hiroyuki Yagyuu

Patent number: 7514956Abstract: A first and a second charging circuit each having a diode and a capacitor are connected to a buffer. In the first charging circuit, an overshoot based on a reflected signal generated by an output signal is stored as an electric charge to the capacitor, and in the second charging circuit, an undershoot based on a reflected signal generated by an input signal is charged as an electric charge to the capacitor, whereby the energy of the overshoot and the like is recovered. These charges are collected in the charging circuit, stored in the capacitor, converted into a power supply voltage of an internal power supply by a stabilization circuit, and are supplied as an internal power supply. The reflected energy of the signal generated during signal transmission at the time of data transfer between semiconductor devices is stored, and the stored energy is used in driving the signals.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2007Date of Patent: April 7, 2009Assignee: NEC System Technologies, Ltd.Inventors: Yasushi Nobutaka, Hiroshi Kamiya, Kunio Ohno
