The clamp is pivotally coupled at a first end to a first lateral side of the base and has a non-deployed state and a deployed state. In the non-deployed state, the clamp is not attached at its other second end to the base and in the deployed state the clamp is attached at its other second end to a second opposing lateral side of the base. The base also includes a depression that extends along a longitudinal extension of the base that is orthogonal to its lateral extension.

Abstract: A drip irrigation emitter includes a cover member, a base member, and a silicone-based membrane containing ferric oxide, the membrane=e located between the two members. The membrane includes liquid silicone rubber (LSR) material and ferric oxide. The ferric oxide in volumetric percentage ranges from about 0.1% to about 0.5% of the overall volume of the LSR material.

Abstract: A pressure regulator valve for regulating pressures within a portion of an irrigation system, can also be used to shut off downstream flow into the portion of the irrigation system in response to an incoming command arriving via an incoming port into the regulator.

An optical communication network includes two or more such optical communication modules. An irrigation system configured to support a field of crops includes such an optical communication network.

The diffuser can rotate about the central axis X relative to the stationary body and the sprinkler includes in addition at least one outlet opening out of the stationary body that is arranged to emit liquid towards the diffuser along an axis Y that extends generally alongside axis X at a given lateral side of axis X.

Abstract: A corrugated piping assembly for use in an irrigation system for bridging between different pipe sections and/or irrigation appliances. The assembly has a corrugated pipe section fitted at a rear end to a connector and a sleeve overlaying a region where the pipe section fits over the connector. The sleeve is arranged to press inwards against the pipe section to press it against portions of the connector.

Abstract: A computerized crop growing management system (CMS) for a farm includes a main controller with an associated user interface (UI). The farm has a plurality of fields on each of which a different crop may be raised, each crop having different irrigation and nutrient requirements. Each field is fed by a main irrigation line connected to a network of irrigation pipes having controller-based valves. Sensors monitor growing conditions in each field. The UI is configured to permit an operator to monitor growing conditions, and control the supply of irrigation liquid and nutrients to each field and/or each crop. The UI allows the operator to specify and create irrigation schedules, nutrient recipes and flow rates, as well as warn an operator of technical and crop problems.
