Abstract: A rotating sprinkler includes a housing and a movable core. The core can assume retracted and extended states relative to the housing and incudes a cover, an impact member and a stream deflector. In the extended state, both the cover and the impact member can pivot between pivoted and non-pivoted states about a hinge defining an axis H generally orthogonal to axis X and the stream deflector is fixed against rotation about the hinge.
Abstract: A media filter includes an inlet and a diffuser located axially below the inlet for distributing liquid entering the filter via the inlet over the media in the filter. The diffuser including one or more members extending generally orthogonal to the axis of the filter.
Abstract: An irrigation system is provided for irrigating a field divided into irrigation zones. The irrigation zones are arranged in columns extending alongside each other. The system has irrigation strips and a control head at an upstream end of each irrigation strip. Each irrigation strip provides irrigation substances to a column of zones. All control heads are located alongside a boundary of the field outside of the irrigation zones.
Abstract: An irrigation column for a drip irrigation system has a fluid conducting line for receiving fluid from a fluid source upstream. The irrigation column further includes a plurality of drip line segments extending alongside the fluid conducting line, a plurality of zone valves located along the fluid conducting line, and a plurality of control tubes extending alongside the fluid conducting line. And each control tube is in fluid communication with a respective one of the zone valves for actuating the zone valve.
Abstract: A drip irrigation system includes a distribution pipe and drip irrigation pipes that branch off in communication with the distribution pipe. Each drip pipe has a flushing valve coupled to a downstream end and at least some of the drip pipes each have an inlet valve coupled to an upstream end for communication with the distribution pipe. The system further has at least one command valve in communication with the distributing pipe and also with at least some of the inlet vales, wherein opening of the command valve is configured to close the at least some inlet valves.
Abstract: A drip irrigation emitter is provided extending between first and second longitudinal ends. The emitter has an outer side for attaching to a pipe that is laterally bound between first and second longitudinal edges. The outer side has a flow path and an exit pool, and at least a section of the flow path extends downstream along the first edge and at least a portion of the exit pool is formed between the section of the flow path and the second edge.
Abstract: A drip emitter includes a frame, that can be made of plastic, and a membrane, that can be elastomeric; and both the frame and the membrane are formed by injection molding and are attached to each other.
Abstract: A valve assembly includes an inlet and an outlet, and has a first state where liquid is stopped from flowing from the inlet towards the outlet, a second state where liquid is released to flow from the inlet towards and out of the outlet, and a terminal state where after flowing out of the outlet, the liquid is stopped form flowing out of the outlet. An incoming command triggers the valve assembly from the first state towards the second state and, at or after reaching the terminal state, the valve assembly transmits an outgoing command.
Abstract: An irrigation pipe that extends along an axis and has a pipe wall with a base portion (55) and a plurality of bulge members (1, 2) that extend away from the base portion.
Abstract: An irrigation pipe is formed from a sheet rolled into a tube about a longitudinal axis, and having overlapped lateral margins. The sheet has a fabric layer and an outer layer formed on the fabric layer. The pipe includes axially extending load bearing members which are in contact with the outer layer. The load bearing members are lacking at least in the vicinity of one or both of the overlapped lateral margins.
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for blending wastewater with fresh water for fertigation of a crop. In one embodiment, the wastewater and the fresh water are blended at a predetermined flow ratio through a blending valve to obtain a blended stream. A logic based controller controls the blending valve to set a predetermined flow ratio according to the electricity conductivity (EC) of the blended water stream. The blending, measuring and adjusting steps form a feedback loop so as to maintain the blended stream at a target EC value.
Abstract: A drip irrigation emitter includes first and second members and a deformable membrane. The membrane is located between the members, and pins that are located on the first member are received within holes formed in the second member. End portions of the pins that project out of the holes are deformed and by that press the first and second members together and compress the membrane.

Abstract: An irrigation pipe formed from a sheet that is rolled into a tube about a longitudinal axis of the sheet. The pipe has a watertight layer and a fabric layer. The fabric layer comprises a first fiber arrangement including first main fibers having a first orientation and a second fiber arrangement including second main fibers having a second orientation. The first and second orientations are transverse relative to each other and to the longitudinal axis when viewed in the sheet before it is rolled.
