Abstract: A base plate portion 21 directly receiving face pressure of the airbag is provided with a steel plate 31 made of a metal, and a stack portion 33 having a resin layers 32 made of synthetic resin and overlapping both faces of the steel plate 31. It possible to uniformly generate stress on both faces of the steel plate 31 in contraction at the time of molding while ensuring sufficient strength against the expansion pressure of the airbag, so that it is possible to suppress deformation in a cooling process after the molding and dimensional stability is high. The peripheral wall portion 22 is able to ensure sufficient strength even when it is integrally formed with each resin layer 32 of the base plate portion 21 in the form of a single layer.

Abstract: The present invention provides an airbag device that is capable of restraining a rectification cloth that switches a vent hole to an opened or closed state so as not to be twisted, and that is capable of switching the vent hole from an opened state to a closed state, and further, switching to the opened state. At an initial stage at which an airbag main body inflates and expands, the vent hole 8 is arranged between the leg portions 5, and when the airbag main body is in a predetermined internal pressure state, the vent hole is closed by means of the band-shaped portion 4. If an occupant or the like comes into contact with the airbag main body, a tense state of each of the leg portions is released, the rectification cloth is established in a slackened state, and the vent hole 8 is established in an opened state.

Abstract: The invention provides a method of manufacturing a cowl top cover, which can easily adjust a reaction force of a first seal portion, and ensure sealing performance in a lip part. A main body cavity 65a is formed in a part of a cavity 65 by moving a slid core 63 forward in a guide hole 61d and making it contact with a second die 62. A cover main body 31 is molded by injecting a synthetic resin into the main body cavity 65a. A slide core 63 is moved backward by a predetermined distance in the guide hole 61d so that the thickness of a lip part in a lip protrusion becomes smaller than that of the lip part in a second seal portion. The lip part is molded by injecting a synthetic resin softer than that forming the cover main body into a seal portion cavity 65d.
