Abstract: A lanperisone hydrochloride compression-molded formulation comprising the first granules containing lanperisone hydrochloride and the second granules containing substantially no lanperisone hydrochloride but at least one pharmaceutical additive(s) selected from the group consisting of sugars, crystalline celluloses and cellulose derivatives is an excellent formulation which has a high storage stability because the decomposition of lanperisone hydrochloride is suppressed.
Abstract: An object is to provide hardened products having excellent water resistance and mechanical strength, and an epoxy resin and an epoxy resin composition for use in the production thereof. An epoxy resin obtained by the glycidylation of a novolak type resin which is prepared by the condensation of biphenyls with phenols and naphthols, and a resin composition containing said epoxy resin and hardened products thereof.
Abstract: A marking composition comprising an energy ray curing resin, a leuco dye and a color developer both of which are low in solubility in toluene, which composition is capable of forming a vivid black color on irradiation with laser beams, and a laser marking method for forming a clear-cut black-colored mark by using the above composition.
Abstract: A protected 4'-demethyl-4-epipodophyllotoxin is reacted with a protected glucose derivative in a non-halogen type organic solvent in a 0.1-7-fold parts by volume based on 1 part by weight of the protected 4'-demethyl-4-epipodophyllotoxin to give an etoposide derivative of formula (3) which is protected at its functional groups: ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each is a protective group for hydroxy, if necessary, followed by removal of these protective groups. By use of the non-halogen type organic solvent in lieu of any harmful halogen type solvent, formation of undesirable by-products can be minimized so that the etoposides can be obtained in a high yield and high purity.
Abstract: A gas generator for an air bag, including a combustion chamber and a hermetic container accommodated in the combustion chamber. Gas generant pellets are charged in the hermetic container. The hermetic container has a wall adapted to be destroyed during combustion of the gas generant pellets. A partition foil piece covers a surface formed by the gas generant pellets charged in the hermetic container so as to conform to a profile of the surface formed by the gas generant pellets. The partition foil piece is non-reactive with the gas generant pellets and has a strength lower than that of the hermetic container. A cushioning member presses the partition foil piece toward the gas generant pellets by a resilient force of the cushioning member so as to suppress movement of the gas generant pellets charged in the hermetic container.
Abstract: A nerve cell differentiation promoter which comprises a physiologically active substance NK175203 or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient is provided. It is expected that the nerve cell differentiation promoter of the present invention is applicable to a medicine for dementia, a nerve cell protective medicine or a medicine for peripheral neuropathy caused by anticancer agents.
