A mixture comprising both or either of an unsaturated polyester resin and an epoxy acrylate resin which are photocurable compounds, glass fibers, and a specific peroxide, is convenient for the production of specific cured shaped articles particularly by the filament winding technique or the drawing technique.

    Abstract: An ultraviolet curing antifogging agent is disclosed. The composition includes block copolymer (a) having a hydrophilic polymer segment (a1) and a hydrophobic polymer segment (a2). A polar solvent (c) is provided in which the hydrophilic polymer segment (a1) can easily be dissolved while the hydrophobic polymer segment (a2) can not. It further includes a photopolymerizable compound (b), and a photopolymerization initiator (d). The block copolymer (a) contains at least one hydrophilic monomer selected from the group of: a (meth) acrylamide compound represented by the general formula: CH.sub.2 .dbd.CR.sub.1 CONR.sub.2 R.sub.3 ; a cyclic (meth)acrylamide compound represented by the general formula ##STR1## and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate. Further, the hydrophilic polymer segment (a1) is formed by a radically polymerizable monomer having a functional group such as glycidyl group.

    Abstract: A positive temperature coefficient thermistor device comprises a pair of positive temperature coefficient thermistor elements, a common terminal plate having a heat conducting terminal member and a common terminal member and being sandwiched between the positive temperature coefficient thermistor elements, and a pair of terminal plates having spring terminal members for clamping the positive temperature coefficient thermistor elements. The common terminal member of the common terminal plate is formed to have a width between the heat conducting terminal member and an insertion hole in the mounting plate on which the positive temperature coefficient thermistor device is to be mounted that is no larger than necessary for its insertion in the insertion hole. A catch is provided on the heat conducting terminal member for engaging with a wall of the insulating case for preventing extraction of the common terminal plate from the insulating case.

The coating material is present as an agglomerated coating layer surrounding the entire circumference of each particle of the particulate core.The coated vitamin C preparation is produced by a process, which comprises a step of bringing particles of a particulate core containing vitamin C into colliding contact with particles of a coating material composed of one or more fine powdery lipids having a melting point of at least 40.degree. C. and containing vitamin E, so as to form a coating layer of agglomerated particles of the coating material surrounding the entire circumference of each particle of the core.The coated vitamin C preparation is useful as a supplement to feeds for animals, such as, livestock, poultry and marine animals, by admixing same with the feed.

    Abstract: A housing for a gas generating composition comprises an igniter chamber for retaining an igniter material. A combustion chamber is formed around the igniter chamber, and a gas generating composition is disposed in the combustion chamber. A cooling chamber with a gas exhaust port is formed around the combustion chamber. A coolant for cooling gas is accommodated in the cooling chamber. The igniter chamber, the combustion chamber and the cooling chamber communicate with one another through ports. A first shell constitutes the top wall of the combustion chamber, an intermediate wall between the combustion chamber and the cooling chamber, and at least the bottom wall of the cooling chamber. The first shell is integrally formed of a metal plate with an even thickness, and opens downward at its center portion and is open at least upward at its outer surface. An igniter housing constitutes at least the peripheral wall of the igniter chamber.

    Abstract: A gas generating device for supplying gas in an air bag or the like is provided with a gas generating composition, which is burned by an ignitor to generate gas, and a primary filter for filtering the burnt gas. The gas generating composition and the filter are placed in a combustion chamber having a primary gas exhausting port. The primary filter is chemically inactive with respect to the burnt procedure of the gas generating composition. The filter has a metal screen whose melting point is equal to or higher than the burning temperature of the gas generating composition. A cooling chamber is provided which communicates via the primary gas exhausting port with the combustion chamber. In the cooling chamber is disposed a secondary filter which cools gas coming out of the combustion chamber and filters the burning residue in the gas. A secondary gas exhausting port is formed in the cooling chamber to discharge the gas filtered by the secondary filter.
