  • Patent number: 11367318
Abstract: Reception unit receives data indicating water temperature of a body of water through which a vessel voyages, vessel speed, and a period for which those values are maintained. From storage unit, index value acquisition unit reads out a decrease amount of anti-fouling paint corresponding to the water temperature and vessel speed received by reception unit. Index value specification unit specifies a decrease amount of anti-fouling paint in the period by multiplying the length of time of the period received by reception unit by the decrease amount read out by index value acquisition unit. Remaining amount acquisition unit integrates the decrease amounts of the anti-fouling paint specified by index value specification unit at the time of coating with the anti-fouling paint and onward.

  • Patent number: 10895211
Abstract: A reference range identifying device acquires and records, at a predetermined time interval, a measuring result of a load and exhaust temperature of an engine. The device identifies, based on combinations of the load and exhaust temperature recorded at multiple points of time, for each load zone, for example a 95% confidence interval of a distribution of exhaust temperatures as a reference range. Subsequently, the device calculates an approximate curve for lower limits and upper limits of reference ranges identified for the load zones. The device identifies a range sandwiched by the calculated two approximate curves as a reference range that changes in accordance with a load. The device, upon detecting that a current load and exhaust temperature of the engine is not included in the reference range, notifies the detected fact to a user.

  • Patent number: 10000262
Abstract: A terminal device stores ship characteristic data that indicates a relationship between rotation speed and ship speed, and rotation speed and fuel consumption when a ship is navigated under various navigation conditions. If a user inputs data that indicates draft state and wind and wave state on a performance display screen displayed on the terminal device, the terminal device generates relationship data that indicates a relationship between rotation speed and ship speed, and rotation speed and fuel consumption when a ship is navigated under wind and wave states corresponding to the input data and each of a plurality of Beaufort states that are set in the terminal device in advance on the basis of the ship characteristic data. The terminal device displays a graph that displays the relationship between rotation speed, ship speed and fuel consumption for each of a plurality of navigation conditions using the relationship data.

  • Publication number: 20160265920
Abstract: The present invention provides an arrangement for providing a bunkering plan (bunkering ports and bunkering amounts at the bunkering ports) that reduces fuel costs in a voyage of a ship. According to one embodiment of the present invention, if a bunkering plan that brings about a lower fuel costs according to the current bunkering plan occurs in accordance with the change in fuel price at a specific port, for example, for a ship that is being sailed, a user such as a ship operation manager is notified of this event. Accordingly, a user is able to know easily which bunkering plan is suitable.
