  • Publication number: 20160162835
Abstract: Ship allocating device obtaining a shipping route data set indicating a shipping route of a routine transportation service, a ship number data set that indicates a number of ships used for the routine transportation service, and a schedule data set that indicates a schedule of assignments of ships for the routine transportation service. The ship allocating device obtains data sets indicating fluctuations in fuel consumption of ships. The ship allocating device calculates, for each of the candidate ships, fuel consumption required for the ship to traverse the shipping route indicated by the shipping route data set in accordance with a schedule indicated by the schedule data set based on the data set. The ship allocating device selects a number of ships equal to or greater than the number indicated by the ship number data set based on calculated fuel consumptions, and outputs data sets identifying selected ships.

  • Publication number: 20160121979
Abstract: A ship managing device acquires input data indicating a predetermined voyage condition, and extracts condition data corresponding to the input data. The condition data is predetermined data describing a combination of a voyage condition and an amount of fuel consumption. The ship managing device, using the condition data, identifies the amount of fuel consumption under the voyage condition indicated by the input data, and determines whether there is scope for improvement in the amount of fuel consumption. Thereafter, the ship managing device generates and outputs monitoring data corresponding to the result of the determination.

  • Patent number: 5887979
Abstract: A liner bag used for a container of a longitudinal box-shaped configuration having a door at one longitudinal end in which the liner bag comprises a bag main body incorporated in the container and connection means for connecting the bag main body at predetermined positions to the container, each of the connection means comprising a ring portion formed by drawing a portion of the bag main body into a strip portion and bending the strip portion and a connection mechanism for connecting the ring portion to the container. Since the ring portion is formed with the bag main body itself, an excess load, if applied, can be prevented from exerting only to a portion of the bag main body thereby enabling to effectively prevent breakage of the bag main body.
