Abstract: A pipe coupling comprises a socket having a ball valve in which a through bore having one end that allows insertion of a plug is formed and a casing supporting the ball valve for rocking motion. The casing has a slot extending from its flank to the top. The slot has a flank opening and a top opening. The flank opening is wider than the top opening. A lock element is located for movement in the through bore of the ball valve. When the one end of the through bore of the ball valve is aligned with the flank opening, the lock element advances into the flank opening, thereby preventing the ball valve from rocking. When the lock element is pushed into the through bore of the ball valve by the plug, it is disengaged from the flank opening, whereupon the ball valve is allowed to rock.
Abstract: This invention provides a pipe coupling used for changing oil in an engine oil pan with an oil drain port. A drain plug has a drain plug main body having one end to be attached to the oil drain port of the engine oil pan, a recess formed in its outer surface of the other end projecting outward from the oil pan, and an axial oil flow path extending in an axial direction, a valve holder to be arranged in the plug main body, and a valve body held by the valve holder and capable of closing the flow path.
Abstract: A fuel filling device is provided with a fuel supply adjusting section which adjusts the amount of fuel supplied, a fuel feed line which feeds fuel from a fuel supply adjusting section to a vehicle W, a nozzle removably coupled to vehicle W that supplies fuel from fuel feed line to vehicle W, and a discharge device that discharges fuel present within fuel feed line to the outside to prevent deterioration of packings used in the device in the case of filling a fuel at high pressure, while also facilitate the operation of a filling nozzle.

Abstract: A compact air massage system is provided which enables the user to receive a comfortable feeling of massage on each part of the limbs. The system includes massage bodies having a plurality of air-tight chambers, a compressed air supply source supplying compressed air to the massage body, and a compressed air distribution apparatus arranged between the compressed air supply source and the massage body and having a plurality of switching valves each allowing the respective air-tight chambers to communicate with one of the compressed air supply source and an outer atmosphere. The system further includes a controller controlling the respective switching valves to allow the respective chambers to be expanded or contracted and check valves each arranged between the compressed air supply source and the switching valve and openable from the compressed air supply source toward the direction of the switching valve, by which it is possible to individually adjust pressure in the respective chambers.
Abstract: A pipe coupling comprises a socket and a plug having front end portions engagable with each other. This socket comprises a plurality of lock balls movable to lock positions where the lock balls partially project into an axial bore of the socket body, and a sleeve for holding the lock balls at the lock position. Abstract: An electromagnetic compressor capable of reciprocating a piston to suck in and compress a gas by the force of an electromagnet and the resilient force of a return spring and a manufacturing method therefor are provided. The compressor includes a cylinder assembly including a front cylinder portion, a rear cylinder portion, and a center hole capable of storing the piston for reciprocation and having a working chamber defined by means of the piston, and an electromagnet located between the front cylinder portion and the rear cylinder portion and capable of actuating the piston. The cylinder assembly and the electromagnet have an integral structure molded from a resin in a manner such that the internal passage is hermetically sealed with respect to the electromagnet and the electrically conductive member.
Abstract: A pipe coupling comprising a socket having a plurality of locking balls capable of engaging a locking portion on a plug and connected to the plug with the locking balls in engagement with the locking portion. The socket includes a main cylinder having an end portion formed with an inlet to receive the plug and an outer cylinder located close to the end portion of the main cylinder and around the outer periphery thereof. The main cylinder and the outer cylinder define a gap having a tapered profile between them, and the locking balls are stored in the gap. The locking balls can project and recede from the inner periphery of the main cylinder. Further, the pipe coupling comprises a thrust cylinder slidable on the outer periphery of the main cylinder. When the locking balls engage the locking portion, the thrust cylinder prevents centrifugal movement of the locking balls.
Abstract: There is provided a compressor having two compression portions arranged in parallel. A compression chamber is formed into an air-tight chamber surrounded by a head of a piston, a cylinder, and a head cover. A discharge chamber is provided to the periphery of each cylinder, and these discharge chambers communicate with each other by a through hole. Two field cores of each electromagnet for driving each piston are formed in the integral structure, and a half wave of an alternating electric current is supplied to each coil wound around these coils in such a manner that the excitation directions of the respective field cores are opposed from each other.
Abstract: A pipe coupling comprises a socket including a valve body, socket body having holes, lock balls stored in the holes for pressing the lock balls radially inward at an advanced position and for releasing the lock balls at a retracted position, and a plug having an engaging groove and being adapted to open the fluid passage when the plug is engaged with the socket. Abstract: Provided is a low-noise, long-life electromagnetic blower that has a simple, low-priced configuration and can realize two different outputs, high and low. When the electromagnetic blower is operated with low output, coils of an electromagnet are connected in series with each other, and an alternating current is supplied from an AC power source. When the blower is operated with high output, on the other hand, current is supplied to the one coil only. In the case where the electromagnetic blower is used for sewage disposal, the electromagnetic blower is operated with low output during aeration and with high output during reverse cleaning operation. Thereupon, the electromagnetic blower can operate with low noise during aeration, and the efficiency of reverse cleaning can be improved. In order to operate the electromagnetic blower with high output, moreover, the coils of the electromagnet may be connected in parallel with each other.
