Abstract: The invention relates to a new process for the preparation of substituted diaminodicarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in a high yield by a modified Kolbe synthesis.
Abstract: The invention relates to heterocyclic amides of the formula ##STR1## in which the radicals A, Z, A.sub.1, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined in the description, to a process for the preparation of these amides and to their use as active substances for the curing and amelioration of disorders and diseases which can be treated by exerting influence on potassium channels.
Abstract: An intravenously administrable, aqueous solution of a water-soluble, physiologically tolerable salt of sulfametrole and of trimethoprim, in which malic acid, L-serine and/or L-threonine are present as solubilizers, and which has a pH of of 6.5-7.0 is disclosed.
Abstract: Light measurement apparatus includes an elongate member which has at one end thereof light emitter(s) and light detector(s). At least the end of the elongate member that has the light emitter(s) and light detector(s) is surrounded by a resiliently biased sheath. In use, when the elongate member is applied to a surface to take a reading, the sheath defines a light-tight enclosure. A related method for determining intensity and/or color of a colored spot on a surface of a test site uses the light measurement apparatus. The method includes bringing the end of the elongate member into contact with the surface, pressing the resiliently biased sheath towards the surface to define a light-tight enclosure, and measuring the intensity and/or color of the colored spot on the surface.
Abstract: Preparation of succinylcholine halides of formula I: ##STR1## by reacting dialkyl succinates with an excess dimethylaminoethanol in the presence of an alkali metal alcoholate or alkali metal amide catalyst and then reacting the resulting bis(2-dimethylaminoethyl) succinates with methyl halides.
Abstract: Compounds of formula I ##STR1## in which R denotes a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 6-30 C atoms wich may optionally be substituted by halogen or the radicals OR.sub.1, SR.sub.1 or NR.sub.1 R.sub.2, where R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 in each case denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or acyl radical having 1-6 C atoms which have excellent virustatic and cytostatic action.
Abstract: Process for the preparation of 5-chloro-3-chlorosulphonyl-2-thiophenecarboxylic acid esters by chlorination in the presence of activated iron.
Abstract: Allylaminoethyltriazoles of the formula: ##STR1## in which R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms; each of Ar and Ar' is an unsubstituted phenyl group, a phenyl group substituted by one or more substituents selected from C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy, nitro and halogen, an unsubstituted thienyl group, or a thienyl group substituted by halogen or naphthyl; phytophysiologically or pharmacologically tolerated acid addition salts thereof; and fungicidal and antimycotic agents containing such compounds.
