Abstract: A device is provided for detecting a charging and discharging status of a flow-cell pack. During charging and discharging course of the flow-cell pack coordinated with electrolyte storage tanks and actuators, ultrasonic sensors of ultrasonic detection devices are used to sense sonic vibration generated by fluid flow in the flow-cell pack. Thus, the charging and discharging status of the flow-cell pack is detected for adjusting related parameters. The present invention has a simple structure, runs without using extra power supply, does not hinder performance of flow cell, and obtains charging and discharging status of flow cell accurately and rapidly.

  • Patent number: 9013147
Abstract: A balancing circuit for balancing multiple cells in a battery. The cell balancing circuit includes a first shunt path connected in parallel to a first cell, a controller coupled to the first shunt path, a timer and a storage unit. The controller balances the cells and detects balance conditions of each cell. The timer measures pre-balance times and balance times for each cell. The storage unit stores the pre-balance times and balance times. The controller pre-balances the first cell by enabling the first shunt path for a first pre-balance time and balances the first cell by enabling the first shunt path for a first balance time if an unbalance condition of the first cell is detected by the controller, and updates the first pre-balance time for each balancing cycle based on the first pre-balance time and the first balance time from a previous balancing cycle.

  • Patent number: 9011091
Abstract: A flow-guiding device for an impeller radial pump is arranged radially outside the impeller and extends in a ring-shaped manner with a circumferential carrier ring on which several guide blades are arranged. These latter are formed so as to be resilient in such a manner that when there is a small fluid flow a blade angle points more in the radial direction at an angle of approximately 70° with respect to the longitudinal center axis of the pump. When there is strong fluid flow, the angle becomes smaller and the guide blades bend in a resilient manner at least in regions such that they stand at a smaller angle of between 30° and 40° with respect to the longitudinal center axis of the pump. The fluid is conveyed better in the pump chamber in this way.
