Abstract: A method of authenticating a user to a computer in an adverse environment includes receiving the user's password in a trusted user device, such as by the user typing the password, and encoding a keyword with a hash of the entered password to create an encoded keyword. The encoded keyword is sent from the trusted user device to the computer using a physical communication channel perceivable by the user; and the encoded keyword is compared in the computer with a keyword encoded with a known hash of the user's password in the computer to authenticate the user.

Abstract: A cooling assembly for a computer module has a cooling device and a mounting device. The mounting device includes a rod shaped fastening element having a male thread and a stop. The fastening element is nonrotatable and movable along its axis with respect to the cooling device. The fastening element is guided through a first hole in the cooling device and a second hole in the computer module, when the cooling device is mounted on the computer module. The stop prevents the fastening element from sliding through the first and second holes. The mounting device also has an elastic element arranged along the axis of the fastening element that presses or pulls the stop away from the computer module. A nut on the mounting device is engageable with the male thread of the fastening element. The stop and the nut are arranged at opposite sides of the computer module.
Abstract: A foldable ramp for wheelchair access to a passenger car door, can include an entry platform which can be arranged an entry positon where the ramp is folded out of the car to allow wheelchair access to the car, a transport position where the entry platform is arranged in the car in an upright position, and a passive position where the entry platform is arranged in the car in a lying positon. The ramp can include a pivoting mechanism to mount the platform to the car, and can include an interlock configured to allow movement of the platform relative to the car and fix the platform relative to at least a section of the car.
