Abstract: The present invention relates to a new yeast strain for the control of the main phytopathogens, which is effective in the prevention, suppression, treatment or control of a wide range of phytopathogens and related diseases affecting the whole plant (both the aerial part and the radical part).

Abstract: A method or system for noninvasive evaluating and monitoring of abnormal cardiopulmonary vibrations includes obtaining one or more signals using one or more noninvasive heart and/or lung vibration signal sensors or transducers that provide a measure of physiological effects that are correlated with cardiopulmonary functions, recording, by a processor and one or more heart and/or lung vibration signal sensors or transducers for turbulence recordings between a first and second cardiopulmonary sounds, analyzing the turbulence recordings for unique vibration signatures associated with cardiopulmonary disease by searching deviations from an average beat, and presenting an assessment of cardiopulmonary disease upon finding that the deviations are above a predetermined threshold. In some embodiments, the system and method further include seeking a largest mean absolute error of a specific segment between an average beat and each beat from a subject to provide a murmur level indicative of cardiopulmonary disease.

Abstract: A base station transmits, to a wireless device, configuration parameters indicating one or more first reference signals (RSs), on a first cell, as RSs for a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure of a second cell. Based on a deactivation of the first cell, the base station stops transmitting a response for the BFR procedure of the second cell, wherein the BFR procedure is triggered by the wireless device for the second cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods implementing prioritization of network resources in an aeronautical satellite network system, which determines network utilization of a beam of the aeronautical satellite system by a plurality of aircraft using network capacity of the beam, where network demand in the beam indicated by the network utilization is greater than capacity of the beam, share network bandwidth of the beam to the plurality of aircraft based on a service priority factor, where the service priority factor may depend on altitude of the plurality of aircraft in the beam.

Abstract: During operation, a computer system may receive, associated with access points, information about the access points and specifying one or more communication-performance metrics associated with a shared band of frequencies. Then, for the access points, the computer system may compute co-channel interference (CCI) metrics based at least in part on the information about the access points and the one or more communication-performance metrics. Moreover, the computer system may select channels and channel widths of the access points based at least in part on the CCI metrics, a graph representation of the access points and a CCI criterion, where nodes in the graph representation correspond to the access points and edges in the graph representation correspond to communication between the pairs of access points. Next, the computer system may provide, addressed to the access points, second information specifying the channels, the channel widths and/or the transmit power of the access points.

Abstract: A load control device adapted to be coupled between an AC power source and an electrical load for controlling the power delivered to the load includes a controller, an actuator for turning the electrical load on and off, an occupancy detection circuit, and an ambient light detector. The load control device automatically turns on the electrical load in response to the presence of an occupant only if the detected ambient light is below a predetermined ambient light level threshold. After first detecting the presence of an occupant, the load control device monitors actuations of the actuator to determine whether a user has changed the state of the load. The load control device automatically adjusts the predetermined ambient light level threshold in response to the user actuations that change the state of the load.

Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-station (multi-STA) acknowledgement are disclosed. An access point (AP) transmits a trigger frame soliciting one or more trigger-based (TB) physical protocol data unit (PPDU) from a first station (STA) and a second STA and comprising a first and a second uplink resource allocation for the first STA and a third and a fourth uplink resource allocation for the second STA. The AP receives, in response to the trigger frame, a first TB PPDU from the first STA, via the first uplink resource allocation, and a second TB PPDU from the second STA, via the third uplink resource allocation, and transmits a multi-STA block acknowledgement (BA) frame comprising padding bits to the first and second STA.

Abstract: According to examples, a hybrid emissive display may include a first ?LED subpixel, a second ?OLED subpixel, and a third ?OLED or ?LED subpixel. The hybrid emissive display may also include at least one digital driving component to digitally drive the first ?LED subpixel, the second ?OLED subpixel, and the third ?OLED or ?LED subpixel. For instance, the subpixels may be driven through pulse width modulation. In this regard, the ?LED subpixels and the ?OLED subpixels in a hybrid emissive display may be driven through at least one digital driving component that may be provided in a common backplane, which may be a CMOS backplane. As a result, for instance, hybrid emissive displays may be fabricated to include blue ?LEDs and red ?OLEDs.

The at least one processor is configured to register the token in response to the received registration request. The gum base polymer includes polyvinyl acetate (PVA) in an amount ranging from 35 weight percent to 55 weight percent of the chewing gum. The oil is present in an amount greater than 8 weight percent of the chewing gum. The oil includes a triglyceride, triacetin, and nicotine or a nicotine derivative. The triglyceride is present in an amount greater than or equal to 5 weight percent of the chewing gum. At least one example embodiment relates to a method of preparing a controlled-release nicotine chewing gum.

Abstract: A high pressure balloon is insertable into a mammalian eustachian tube. The balloon has a body that includes a medial end, a lateral end, and a longitudinal axis extending from the medial end to the distal end, an exterior surface, an interior surface defining an air receiving interior, a lateral cross-sectional profile, and a longitudinal cross-sectional profile. The balloon is inflatable between a deflated configuration and an inflated configuration. The body is capable of retaining its desired size and shape when in the inflated configuration. The body has an ovaloid lateral cross-section that increases along the longitudinal axis from the relatively smaller cross-sectional area at the lateral end, to the relatively larger cross-sectional area at the medial end. The balloon is configured to uniformly expand the eustachian tube when in the inflated configuration.

Abstract: A method of managing non-infective nasal symptoms may include formulating a topical composition for nasal administration. The formulation may include zinc, acetylcysteine, azelastine, one or more probiotics, or a combination thereof. The formulation may also include additional ingredients such as a steroid, poloxamers, or xylitol. Ingredients of the topical composition may be provided in a dry powder format within a capsule for combining with an aqueous diluent at the time of administration. The topical composition may be administered nasally.

Abstract: A system and method of positioning a patient residing on a sheet located on a mattress includes moving to a first position opposing engagement members of a clamp, inserting a first side edge of the sheet between the opposing engagement members, moving the opposing engagement members to a second position so as to grasp the first side edge of the sheet, and causing a pulling device to pull the clamp and thus the sheet upwards so as to at least partially reposition the patient from an initial position towards a second side of the mattress. The sheet has opposing longitudinal side edges that may be retained by retainers located along corresponding opposing longitudinal first and second sides of the mattress.

Abstract: A system and a method for controlling an agricultural vehicle includes receiving sensor information for an agricultural vehicle from one or more sensors, determining the quality of an agricultural application based on the sensor information, updating a vehicle control learning algorithm for controlling the agricultural vehicle based on the determined quality of the agricultural application, and controlling an operation of the agricultural vehicle based on the updated vehicle control learning algorithm.
