  • Patent number: 11983609
Abstract: An end-to-end cloud-based machine learning platform providing two data pipelines: a first machine learning pipeline provides data transformation, a second machine learning pipeline optimizes those data transformations. The first pipeline transforms raw data into model features, and features into machine learning models. It provides training, inference, and experimentation of online and off-line models for personalizing experiences for game players. The second pipeline optimizes models generated by the first pipeline leveraging a reinforcement learning (RL) model and an evolution strategy (ES) model. The second pipeline learns with its first RL model, from experimentation, the best performing models. To improve the training of new models, the second pipeline also transfers its learning from its first RL model to its second ES model to generate the training of new models in the first pipeline. The second pipeline can be considered as an overlay pipeline to the first one.

  • Patent number: 11985790
Abstract: A modular arrangement is provided for housing electronic equipment and associated cooling structure in a data center environment. The modular units provide cooling air on an as-needed basis to individual pieces of equipment by way of individual plenums and associated valves. The units can be interconnected by vertical stacking, in side-to-side arrangements, and back-to-back arrangements. A number of units can be interconnected to form a cell. The cells can be interconnected to form larger units. In this manner, data centers can be configured in any desired arrangement without requiring complicated cooling design.

  • Patent number: 11980774
Abstract: Devices and related methods for impinging light on tissue to induce one or more biological effects, and more particularly illumination devices and related methods for phototherapeutic light treatments in the presence of vitamins are disclosed. Biological effects may include at least one of inactivating and inhibiting growth of one or more combinations of microorganisms and pathogens, including but not limited to viruses. Phototherapeutic light treatments in the presence of vitamins may involve providing one or more vitamins in the form of a coating or film on a surface of a target tissue and irradiating the target tissue with light. By performing the phototherapeutic light treatment in the presence of vitamins, efficacy of the light treatment may be improved, thereby reducing viral loads and/or reducing doses of light received by the target tissue.

  • Patent number: 11983730
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information are disclosed. An example method includes estimating first and second ages of audience members based on demographic information; estimating a third age of an audience member who is not included in the audience members; applying a window function to the second ages to determine a distribution of ages based on the third age; multiplying window values by the first ages to determine corrected first age components; dividing a total of the corrected first age components by a sum of the window values to determine an estimated age of the audience member at a first time; and determining the corrected age of the audience member at a second time based on the estimated age of the audience member at the first time and a time difference between the first and second times.

  • Patent number: 11980476
Abstract: A method for detecting an artificially induced neuromuscular response in a subject includes receiving a mechanomyography (MMG) output signal from a mechanical sensor in contact with a muscle of the subject; applying one or more conditioning filters to the MMG output signal to generate a conditioned signal and analyzing the conditioned signal to identify one or more candidate waveforms. Each candidate waveform meets one or more analog or digital signal characteristic criteria associated with an artificially induced neuromuscular response. The method then compares a first candidate waveform to a second candidate waveform to determine a degree of similarity between the first and second candidate waveforms, and provides an alert to a user that indicates detection of the artificially induced neuromuscular response when the degree of similarity exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 11982165
Abstract: A system for producing CO and CO2 to achieve an efficient oil recovery operation having de minimis undesirable gaseous emissions is provided. The system includes a portable CO producing device and a portable CO2 producing device located proximate to the reservoir and a gas collecting device configured to receive CO and CO2 and selectively distribute a desired ratio of CO and CO2 dynamically based on current reservoir conditions. Producing CO2 proximate to the reservoir comprises reforming carbon based fuel within oxygen. Electrical energy generated is used to selectively distribute the desired ratio of CO/CO2 to the reservoir with de minimis greenhouse gases produced transmitted into the atmosphere. The system is an energy efficient arrangement that recycles and reuses by-products and unused products from the process. Greenhouse gas emissions are significantly reduced compared to conventional processes by-products are fully utilized.
