Abstract: One example method includes receiving, at an IO journal, a new entry that identifies a respective disk location L, and data X written at that disk location L, and determining whether a location specified in an oldest entry of the IO journal is specified in any other entries in the IO journal. When the location specified in the oldest entry is not specified in any other entries in the IO journal, adding the new entry to the IO journal, and augmenting the new entry with undo data. Or, when the location specified in the oldest entry is specified in at least one other entry in the IO journal, setting data specified in the oldest entry as undo data for the next entry that identifies that location, and adding the new entry to the IO journal, and deleting the oldest entry from the IO journal.

Abstract: An improved support structure for a valve stem positioned within a valve passageway of an HVAC line set quick connector is disclosed herein. The support structure may include a ring-shaped portion, a plurality of angled legs extending peripherally away and below the ring-shaped portion, and a plurality of terminal portions. The ring-shaped portion may be configured to surround the valve stem. Each of the plurality of terminal portions may be coupled to one of the plurality of legs and may further include an arcuate surface configured to engage the valve passageway of the HVAC line set quick connect. The improved support structure is configured to increase a cross-sectional opening area through the support structure such that coolant flowing through the HVAC line set quick connector is not substantially restricted.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for preemptively evaluating whether roles are over-privileged within an (IAM) identity and access management system. Roles may be over-privileged when they are granted permissions to perform certain actions outside the scope granted to those roles. The evaluation occurs without submitting the certain actions to the IAM system and allows roles to be evaluated on a preemptive basis so that corrective actions may be taken to prevent unauthorized access to resources. Roles may be associated with policies which may each define different permissions for accessing resources. The evaluation may involve generating an effective policy from the policies associated with a role to provide a comprehensive view of all permissions associated with the role.

Abstract: A pharmacological method for treating the expressive language deficit in an autistic human child or adult is provided. A therapeutically effective dose of a succinimide anticonvulsant, e.g., ethosuximide, methsuximide, phensuximide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered to a patient suffering from expressive language deficit, preferably over an extended period, e.g., six months or longer. Language gains are retained even after treatment is discontinued.
Abstract: A stormwater management system comprising a floor having a drainage opening and a filter. The filter is operatively attached to a portion of the floor adjacent the drainage opening such that the filter covers the drainage opening so that water flowing from the stormwater management system into the drainage opening passes through the filter. The filter has a filter area adapted to permit stormwater to flow therethrough, with the filter area of the filter being at least twice as large as the drainage opening area.

Abstract: Disclosed implementations relate to automating semantically-similar computing tasks across multiple contexts. In various implementations, an initial natural language input and a first plurality of actions performed using a first computer application may be used to generate a first task embedding and a first action embedding in action embedding space. An association between the first task embedding and first action embedding may be stored. Later, subsequent natural language input may be used to generate a second task embedding that is then matched to the first task embedding. Based on the stored association, the first action embedding may be identified and processed using a selected domain model to select actions to be performed using a second computer application. The selected domain model may be trained to translate between an action space of the second computer application and the action embedding space.
Abstract: A set-top box with enhanced functionality and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box system, first and second set-top boxes each include a housing securing a television input, a television output, a processor, a wireless transceiver, memory, and storage communicatively interconnected by a busing architecture. Each of the set-top boxes is connected to a display, such as a television.
