    Abstract: A method for producing hydrogen product having a low carbon intensity is provided. The method includes the steps of: (a) converting a hydrocarbon feedstock to a hydrogen product using a hydrocarbon reforming process; (b) providing at least some of the required energy for the hydrogen production process from a biomass power plant; and (c) processing one or more flue gas streams from the biomass power plant in a carbon capture unit to reduce CO2e emissions. The hydrogen product has a carbon intensity preferably less than about 1.0 kg CO2e/kg H2, more preferably less than 0.45 kg CO2e/kg H2, and most preferably less than 0.0 kg CO2e/kg H2.

    Abstract: A wireless device receives parameters, including a first discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration associated with unicast transmissions in a cell and a second DRX configuration associated with multicast and broadcast services (MBS) in the cell. The wireless device may also receive a power saving (PS) indication indicating not to start a DRX on duration timer. The PS indication may be applied for the first DRX configuration; and it may not be applied for the second DRX configuration. The wireless device may further skip monitoring, in a first DRX on duration of the first DRX configuration, first physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) for the unicast transmissions based on receiving the PS indication. The wireless device may also monitor, in a second DRX on duration of the second DRX configuration and while skipping monitoring the first PDCCHs in the first DRX on duration, second PDCCHs for the MBS.

    Abstract: A controlled substance take-back kiosk has a housing that defines a secured internal kiosk storage vault. A hopper is selectively moveable between a normally closed position disallowing insertion of controlled substances into the housing interior and an open position allowing insertion of controlled substances. The hopper has an adjustable size opening with a smooth interior. A baffle has a curved cam surface that engages with the hopper, to accelerate closure of the baffle during opening of the hopper, to isolate the secured internal kiosk storage vault from the housing exterior.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for determining a cell count within a whole slide pathology image. The image is segmented using a global threshold value to define a tissue area. A plurality of patches comprising the tissue area are selected. Stain intensity vectors are determined within the plurality of patches to generate a stain intensity image. The stain intensity image is iteratively segmented to generate a cell mask using a local threshold value that is and gradually reduced after each iteration. A chamfer distance transform is applied to the cell mask to generate a distance map. Cell seeds are determined on the distance map. Cell segments are determined using a watershed transformation, and a whole cell count is calculated for the plurality of patches based on the cell segments. A client device may be configured for real-time cell counting based on the whole cell count.

Phone cases cannot hold many items without becoming too bulky. Small purses have limited storage space and personal devices can take up much of that space. Moreover, carrying a phone case with a strap in addition to a purse with a strap can cause tangling and limit ease of use. An externally available phone case suspended from a strap of a purse allows for immediate access to the cell phone without consuming space within the purse. The suspended phone case may be removed from the purse to allow for separate use of the phone or purse.
