Abstract: A system and method employs a chatbot into which a user can input an inquiry/question regarding a risk related topic is disclosed. The user can obtain an answer to the inquiry. The system and method can receive, via a chatbot interface, an inquiry. An intent of the inquiry can be determined using a natural language processing (NLP) model. The inquiry can be matched, using a classifier, to a related data set based on the determined intent. An output can be generated based on the related data set in response to the inquiry. The output can be transmitted for display on the chatbot interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining that a new software program is in parity with a legacy software program. In some aspects, the system receives information for multiple threads processed by a legacy software program. The system processes the information using the new software program, which is executed in parallel with the legacy software program. If an output of a particular thread from the new software program varies outside a threshold distance from a corresponding output for the thread from the legacy software program, the system ceases further processing of the particular thread by the new software program. Otherwise, the system allows processing of the particular thread by the new software program to continue.

Abstract: A method for adjusting state of charge (SOC) limits aboard a motor vehicle having a propulsion battery pack includes receiving a pre-drive information set via a host computer and identifying, from the pre-drive information set, a probability that the motor vehicle is about to embark on a road trip. The road trip is a drive event in which the motor vehicle will travel outside of a predetermined area. The method further includes expanding the SOC limits of the propulsion battery pack when the motor vehicle is about to embark on the road trip, such that a total SOC window of the propulsion battery pack is increased for a duration of the road trip.

Abstract: Systems and methods for migrating data from a legacy software program to a new software program. In some aspects, the system captures a snapshot of the current state of static data for multiple threads from the legacy software program. The system processes the static data for the multiple threads using the new software program to generate dynamic data for a period of time. During the same period of time, the legacy software program also produces dynamic data for the multiple threads. If there is a mismatch between dynamic data from the new and legacy software programs for at least one thread, the system generates metadata for the at least one thread to supplement static data for the at least one thread for processing by the new software program.

Abstract: An under door seal for interior doors. The under door seal has a U-shaped base unit and a plurality of sealing fins. The base unit mounts to the bottom of a door. The sealing fins are provided to seal a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor to block drafts, light, and sound from passing under the door. The sealing fins have a coiled shape configuration and flexible nature to allow the fins to extend or compress to fill a gap of varied height beneath the door. The flexible nature of the sealing fins also permits the under door seal to seal gaps between multiple floor levels and a single door bottom.

Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media for a payment delegation and linking system are provided. The system may generate a delegation request to send to an individual for payment of a portion of a value of a transaction. The delegation request may be sent to the individual with a payment URL embedded with a token. Upon initiation of payment in response to the delegation request, the token may be embedded in an unused field of a payment transaction record generated at the individual's device and may be transmitted from the individual's device to a payment processing system for processing and settlement. The payment transaction record may ultimately be received at the requestor's bank with the token intact. The token may be used to link the received payment transaction with the original delegated transaction. The original delegated transaction and the received payment transaction may be displayed together in a transaction summary.

Abstract: An apparatus for wasting flocculant sludge from a clarifier is provided including a wasting pipe fluidly connectable to a waste conduit, a manifold fluidly connectable to the wasting pipe, an upper header for collecting the flocculant sludge fluidly connectable to the manifold, a return sludge pipe fluidly connectable to a return sludge well, a lower header for collecting settled sludge fluidly connectable to the return sludge pipe, and a drive mechanism for rotating the upper header and the lower header about a center axis. A wastewater treatment system is provided including the clarifier fluidly connectable to a source of a mixed liquor and the apparatus for wasting flocculant sludge. A method of separating settled sludge from a clarifier is provided including withdrawing flocculant sludge and withdrawing settled sludge. A method of retrofitting a clarifier is also provided including providing the manifold, the upper header, and the drive mechanism.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing cross-partition preemption analysis and prevention. Computing devices typically include a main central processing unit (CPU) with multiple cores to execute instructions independently, cooperatively, or in other suitable manners. In some examples, one or more cores are partitioned and dedicated to a particular application, where exclusive access of the cores in the partition is intended for running processes of the application. In some examples, some “noise” can be introduced in a partition, where preemptions associated with other processes can interrupt execution of the particular application. A preemption diagnostics system and method identify and prevent sources of cross-partition preemption events from running in a dedicated CPU partition. Thus, the particular application has dedicated use of the cores in the partition. As a result, latency of the application is reduced and bounded latency corresponding to a service level agreement can be achieved.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored instructions that may cause the processor to determine that information has been inputted into an object, the object including a child object nested within the object. The instructions may also cause the processor to generate a child-object hash value based on contents of the child object, generate a hash value for the object based on contents of the object, the contents of the object including the child-object hash value, and determine whether the generated hash value differs from a stored hash value, the stored hash value corresponding to contents of the object without the inputted information. The instructions may also cause the processor to, based on a determination that the generated hash value differs from the stored hash value, save the object including the child object nested within the object.

Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system may aggregating multiple counterfactual samples so that machine learning explanations can be generated for sub-populations. In addition, methods and systems described herein use machine learning and counterfactual samples to determine text to use in an explanation for a model's prediction. A computing system may also train machine learning models to not only determine whether a request to perform an action should be accepted, but also to generate output that is consistent with output generated by previous machine learning models. Further, a computing system may generate counterfactual samples based on user preferences. A computing system may obtain preferences and then apply a penalty or adjustment parameter such that when a counterfactual sample is created, the computing system is forced to change one or more features indicated by the preferences to create the counterfactual sample.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for assisting users with unknown topics by automatically presenting information associated with the unknown topics to the users. In an example embodiment, an unknown topic is referred to or discussed during a conversation between multiple users. A candidate definition for the topic is determined, where the candidate definition is known by the user that used the topic. Based on a determination that the topic and the candidate definition are unknown to a second user in the conversation, the topic and the candidate definition are provided to one or more output devices for presentation to the second user.

Abstract: A method for securing messages includes obtaining, at a first message server, a message for a user of a message service hosted by the first message server, the message including a header including a digital signature signed by an author of the message and a list of one or more recipients of the message. The method includes determining that a Domain Name System (DNS) TXT record associated with the message includes a delegation policy indicating that a second message server declared all intended recipients of the message. In response, the method includes determining that the digital signature by the author is valid and that the user is a declared recipient of the message. The method includes, in response to determining that the digital signature by the author is valid and the user is the declared recipient of the message, indicating the message is authentic.

Abstract: An administered authentication system can authenticate an artificial reality device using an authorization record between a user account and an artificial reality device. In some implementations, the authorization record is created in response to activation of a user account-specific key sent to a user-supplied contact, where an artificial reality device identifier was provided with the user-supplied contact. In other implementations, the authorization record is created in response to activation of a user account-specific key provided to the artificial reality device as a code, where activation of the key includes adding an artificial reality device identifier to a key activation message. In yet other implementations, the authorization record is created in response to an application associated with a user account activating an artificial reality device-specific key, with an artificial reality device identifier, that is provided via the artificial reality device.

Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions containing the polymer formed from a variety of polycycloolefinic monomers optionally at least one of which monomer contains an additional unpolymerized ethylenic bond, organophosphorus compound, optionally hexagonal boron nitride, a crosslinker, a free radical initiator, a tackifier and one or more suitable additives. The compositions of this invention can be formed into a variety of three-dimensional insulating articles upon exposure to suitable high temperature, such as for example films. The objects formed from the compositions of this invention exhibit hitherto unattainable low dielectric constant and low-loss properties, fire retardancy and very high thermal properties. The compositions of this invention may additionally contain one or more organic or inorganic filler materials, which provide improved thermo-mechanical properties in addition to excellent thermal and dielectric properties.
