Abstract: Systems and methods for remotely monitoring the amount of fuel in one or more fuel tanks are disclosed. A fuel monitoring device includes a sensor configured to monitor the operation of a valve coupled to an output of a fuel tank and a network and communication system configured to receive data from the sensor related to the operation of the valve and establish communication with one or more remote systems via a communications network. The fuel monitoring device communicates the data related to the operation of the sensor to a remote server system via the communications network. Based on the data received from the fuel monitoring device and one or more remote systems, the remote server system can determine the amount of fuel remaining in the tank, and can predict when the tank will require additional fuel.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for leveraging artificial intelligence to sanitize sensitive data and prevent the data from leaving the mobile device and/or be exposed to unauthorized third parties. More specifically, methods and systems are described for a novel and unconventional architecture for a data sanitization application, a novel and unconventional delivery format for the data sanitization model, and a novel and unconventional output format of the data sanitization model.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a body defining a cabin interior, a seat assembly having a seat base, a seat back and a plurality of actuators configured to adjust ergonomic positions of the seat assembly. The vehicle has a first imaging system located in the cabin interior and configured to capture first images of an upper body of an occupant seated on the seat assembly, and a second imaging system configured to capture second images of a lower body of the occupant seated on the seat assembly. A controller processes the first and second images to determine dimension data and position data of the occupant and determines an adjusted ergonomic configuration of the seating assembly, and controls the actuators to adjust the seat assembly to the adjusted ergonomic configuration.

Abstract: A novel printing system and associated printing methods that can overcome many of the obstacles presented by today's printing systems. In certain embodiments a printing vehicle is presented that may work in cooperation with other vehicles to produce a system capable of delivering a wide range of productivity and scale. This printing system is amenable to novel printing methods that can reduce printing defects and ink consumption by up to 30%.

Abstract: Novel thiazole- and/or isoquinoline-containing compounds are presented that are useful for treating cancers as well as treating and/or preventing viral infections. Methods of treating and/or preventing broad-spectrum viral infections are also presented. These compounds have been shown to inhibit HCMV, influenza virus, and coronavirus replication in cell-based assays.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing image data representing a document to remove deformations contained in the document are disclosed. A system may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. The instructions may instruct the system to provide, to a machine learning system, a training dataset representing a plurality of documents containing a plurality of training deformations. The instructions may also instruct the system to use the machine learning system to process image data representing a target document containing a target document deformation. The machine learning system may generate restored image data representing the target document with the target document deformation removed. The instructions may further instruct the system to provide the restored image data to at least one of a graphical user interface, an image storage device, or a computer vision system.

The field device is configured to restrict or allow access based on verification of a received key. The mobile device is configured to communicate with the base device to receive the temporary key when in proximity of the base device, communicate with the field device to provide the temporary key to the field device when in proximity of the field device, and exchange data with the field device in response to the field device verifying the temporary key.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide 901swallowable devices, preparations and methods for delivering drugs and other therapeutic agents within the GI tract. Many embodiments provide a swallowable device for delivering the agents. Particular embodiments provide a swallowable device such as a capsule for delivering drugs into the intestinal wall or other GI lumen. Embodiments also provide various drug preparations that are configured to be contained within the capsule, advanced from the capsule into the intestinal wall and degrade to release the drug into the bloodstream to produce a therapeutic effect. The preparation can be operably coupled to delivery means having a first configuration where the preparation is contained in the capsule and a second configuration where the preparation is advanced out of the capsule into the intestinal wall. Embodiments of the invention are particularly useful for the delivery of drugs which are poorly absorbed, tolerated and/or degraded within the GI tract.

Abstract: Presented are silicon and other anodes and methods for producing same. In one aspect of the disclosure, a pristine anode material is prelithiated to produce a prelithiated anode substrate. Precursors are combined, such as using a flow into a deposition chamber, to produce a target chemical formulation formed as a hydrophobic and hermetic protective coating over the prelithiated Si-anode substrate. The result is a protected anode substrate. A laser may thereafter be used for further processing of the protected the protected anode substrate to form an anode. In other embodiments, a silicon oxide anode, a graphite anode, or a silicon-graphite blended anode is used.

Abstract: A method for processing a stream of input images is provided. The method includes receiving a stream of input images, and applying a digital effect to the stream of input images. The digital effect is one or more from the group of: a pan, a tilt, or a zoom, of the stream of input images. The method further includes selecting an analytical projection type, from a plurality of analytical projection types, that maps pixels of the input stream of images to projected pixels of a modified stream of images, generating the modified stream of images, using the selected analytical projection type, thereby correcting a geometric distortion within the stream of input images, while applying the digital effect, and displaying the modified stream of images.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for a user equipment wirelessly communicating with another user equipment using dual connectivity (DC) with a terrestrial base station and a satellite or high-altitude platform. The described methods and systems include a principal routing manager assessing that different subsets of data, to be transmitted from the user equipment to the other user equipment, can use different, respective qualities of service (QoS) offered through different wireless-communication networks associated with the terrestrial base station and the satellite or high-altitude platform.

A first aspect relates to a system including a printed circuit board (PCB) oriented along a first plane, a device on the PCB, and a component shield having a wall structure oriented perpendicular to the first plane and a cover structure connected to the wall structure. The system includes a housing structure oriented along a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane. The first and second planes define a shielded space within which the component shield and the device reside. The system further includes a shielding layer residing at least partially between the cover and housing structures. The shielding layer has an irregular cross-section along a fourth plane perpendicular to at least one of the first or second planes and a third plane. The irregular cross-section includes a protrusion that extends from the third plane.

Abstract: A realtime kernel supports realtime communications between communicants operating on respective network nodes. The realtime kernel handles the complex tasks of connecting to communicants, virtual areas, and other network resources, switching those connections in response to user inputs, and mixing realtime data streams. The realtime kernel enables developers to focus on developing high-level communications functionality instead of low-level plumbing code. The realtime kernel imposes relatively low computational resource requirements so that realtime communications performance can be achieved using a wide range of computing devices and network connections that currently are available.
