Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless sidelink operations may include a first device including a transceiver and one or more processors configured to configure a transmission power for a wireless sidelink (SL) transmission of a SL connection with a second device, where the transmission power is configured to be greater than a minimum transmission power. The one or more processors may transmit, via the transceiver, the wireless SL transmission to the second device according to the configured transmission power.

Abstract: Embodiments herein comprise monitoring factors related to braking of an autonomous vehicle. In response to determining, based upon data from one or more sensors, whether a failure state from a set of one or more failure states has occurred, a failure log is updated to record the occurrence of the detected failure state. In one or more embodiments, the failure states have associated severity levels, and the updated log and associated severities are used to determine a braking safety or failure metric for the vehicle. In one or more embodiments, if the vehicle has a metric corresponding to a rule that correlates the braking safety metric value to a set of one or more actions, the corresponding action(s) may then be implemented. For example, if the braking safety metric has a value corresponding to a rule that indicates the vehicle is unsafe, the vehicle is parked.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include systems, structures, circuits, and methods providing pin-coupled transformers and/or pin-coupled coil structures. A pin-coupled coil structure can include first and second substrates, each having a plurality of conductive traces. The conductive traces of the substrates are connected by conductive pins, forming one or more pin-coupled coil structures. Two pin-coupled coils structure can be configured around a transformer core forming a pin-coupled transformer structure. The pin-coupled transformer structure can be included in integrated circuit (chip) packages or modules. The packages and modules may include various types of circuits; in some examples, chip packages or modules may include a galvanically isolated gate driver or other high voltage circuit.

Abstract: This disclosure relates transform configuration and signaling for a compound inter intra prediction modes. In one example, a method for decoding a video block in a video stream is disclosed. The method may include determining that the video block is predicted in a Compound Inter Intra Prediction (CIIP) mode, wherein the video block is derived as a combination of an intra prediction and an inter prediction in the CIIP mode.

Abstract: Techniques for notification settings for data transactions are described and are implementable to enable a notification settings override to be applied. For instance, when a requested data transaction for a user account exceeds a specified risk threshold and a user device associated with the user account has a notification setting that prevents output of a notification of the data transaction, a notification settings override can be applied on the user device to enable a notification of the requested data transaction to be output.

Abstract: A method for controlling charging of a battery to minimize or avoid lithium plating. The method may include charging the battery during with a first charge current having a first charge profile, monitoring charging of the battery with the first charge current, and thereafter charging the battery with a second charge current having a cathode charge profile to prevent a cathode potential of the battery from exceeding a cathode threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods to separate carbon dioxide from flue gases and sequester carbon dioxide are described here. By using the properties of carbon dioxide and the temperature in a body of water (e.g., the ocean or freshwater body of water) or the temperatures of the ambient atmosphere, gaseous carbon dioxide can be converted to a liquid and separated from other gases. Pressure used to separate carbon dioxide from other gases may also be used to sequester liquid carbon dioxide. The liquid carbon dioxide is inert and can be discharged into the ocean without dissolving in seawater and acidifying the ocean. The liquid carbon dioxide may further be densified to be denser than seawater. The liquid carbon dioxide can then sink to the bottom of the ocean or be injected into ocean sediments or sediments and rocks beneath the ocean floor, inert and sequestered for the long term.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic cost segregation analysis. A method includes obtaining user input presenting a number of real property assets. The user input can be indicative of a selected asset from the number of assets. The method can include obtaining an asset profile for the selected asset from a first database, and historical data associated with the asset from a second database. The asset profile for the selected asset can be previously generated for the asset based on asset data compiled from a number of external sources. The method can include automatically generating a cost segregation estimate for the selected asset based on the asset profile and the historical data. The method can include automatically displaying data indicative of the segregation estimate in response to the user input. The specialized user interfaces described herein allow for automatic segregation analysis and the generation of letters to property owners with minimal user interaction.

Abstract: The disclosure generally provides zeolites having the CHA crystalline framework and methods of preparing the same. Provided herein are CHA zeolites containing intergrowths, a controlled framework aluminum distribution, or both. Further provided are CHA zeolites wherein crystals of the zeolite material have a predominantly flake-like morphology as determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Further provided are catalyst compositions, articles, and systems including CHA zeolites promoted with a metal.

Abstract: An example of an inmate information communication system may include a wireless inmate device including a Wi-Fi radio that is associated with a predetermined and unique telephone number, wherein the wireless inmate device is located inside of an incarceration facility. The inmate information communication system may include a server. The server may be configured to: receive, from an outside device, an inbound communication request to the unique telephone number associated with the wireless inmate device, responsive to the receipt of the inbound communication request, authorize the inbound communication request, and responsive at least to the authorization of the inbound communication request, establish a communication session between the wireless inmate device and the outside device.

Abstract: A lunar articulating mirror array system and method of use, in particular a lunar articulating mirror array for powering solar thermal processes in a lunar environment. The system redirects solar radiation using a masted heliostat array. The face of the array is composed of independently actuated concentrating mirrors which form a variable focal position Fresnel reflector. In one aspect, the lunar articulating mirror array system may redirect solar flux with controllable and selectable solar concentration ratios and may replicate any reflective optic geometry.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparati for separating liquids from production gases and recovering the liquids. The methods and apparati of the present disclosure can reduce or eliminate emissions compared to standard methods and devices and also eliminate the need for haul away of liquids by collecting compressor system liquids in charge vessel(s). The methods and apparati of the present disclosure can also be used to fuel the engines which operate the compressor systems.

Abstract: An autoinjector medical device can include a cover including an engaging surface including a needle outlet, and a handle formed in the cover at an opposite end of the cover as the engaging surface. The autoinjector medical device can further include a needle configured to translate through the needle outlet, a first sensor electrode disposed on the engaging surface and adjacent the needle outlet, and a second sensor electrode disposed on the handle. Abstract: A system and method for determining mechanical properties of a bone of an individual is disclosed. The mechanical properties of the bone, for example, left ulna are determined through the imposition of constraints on the estimation of model parameters and combinations of model parameters of the tissue response when using mechanical response tissue analysis (MRTA) and its derivatives such as cortical bone mechanics technology (CBMT), when spurious modes of vibration are present in the data, and in individuals where soft tissue effects are large such as in those persons with high body mass index (BMI) and/or muscularity. The system comprises a test probe unit having a mounting system, a test probe with sensors, a vibrator unit having a vibrator motor, and a controller having a processor and a memory containing computer readable and executable instructions which are executed by the processor to perform multiple functions.

Abstract: A hitch-mounted carrier system is provided. The system includes a single support member that can engage with a hitch receiver of a vehicle, and a carrier component that can carry at least one item. The single support member includes a hitch mounting section having a mounting bar that can be received within a passage defined by the hitch receiver of the vehicle, and a beam pivotably mounted to the hitch mounting section, where the beam includes at least one mounting area. The single support member further includes a handle secured to the rear end of beam, where the handle can be grasped for moving the beam between multiple positions, and a bumper connected to the beam that maintains the rear end of beam above a ground surface when the beam is tilted. The carrier component is attached to the beam at the at least one mounting area.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of automatic event and user-driven event triggers digital notarization on the data and documents on one or more blockchains, according to example embodiments. A method may combine a novel method of additional digital notary functions with existing hash algorithms, digital or electronic signature technologies, secured data or document storage and may add the novelty of assigning notary requirements to a digital asset in a digital dossier. Embodiments may include a digital asset with an aggregation of a digital dossier, notary specification, a notary party group, event-driven automated notary process, a multi-party automated notary process, and a multi-notary notary process. The notary specification may identify the items in the dossier that must, according an example embodiment, apply a notary, signature requirements, and other settings. The method may be applied for the lifecycle of activities for an asset independent of the time duration of the life of the asset.

Abstract: A drip screw coupler attaches a drip irrigation line to a rigid emitter. The drip screw coupler defines a flow channel between a top end and an outlet end that has an outer diameter sealably friction fittable entirely within an inlet port of the rigid emitter. A connecting arm extends from the top end for sealable attachment to the drip irrigation line. The outer surface of the coupler is configured for grasping between adjacent fingers of a user to facilitate manual connections and disconnections. The coupler may be injection molded as a singular component.
