Abstract: A method of controlling an idle speed of an engine of a vehicle, includes the steps of determining that the engine is decelerating to or is operating at a nominal idle speed, determining that a vehicle brake is applied, determining an actual or projected electrical load of at least part of a vehicle electrical system is beyond an electrical load threshold, and increasing the engine speed to or maintaining the speed of the engine at a speed greater than the nominal idle speed range as a function of the electrical load to increase the electrical output of a generator coupled to the engine. The method may include determining that the brake is ceasing to be applied and then decreasing the engine speed to or toward the nominal idle speed.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions according to review and approval workflows. The transaction exchange platform may receive transactions from origination sources, which may be added to the SDP as transaction objects. As the transactions are processed, the transactions may require access to a resource (e.g., a key value in a database). A microservice processing the transaction may request, from a locking microservice, a lock for the resource. The locking microservice may query a local cache to determine whether a lock exists for the resource. If the local cache determines that no lock exists for resource, the locking mechanism may employ a consensus protocol to obtain a lock for the resource from a plurality of clusters. If consensus is reached, a lock for the resource may be granted to the requesting microservice.

Abstract: Systems and methods for balanced inductive and capacitive coupling for quantum circuits are provided. A quantum circuit can include a qubit structure comprising an inductor and at least a first portion of a qubit capacitor. The quantum circuit can further include a ground, and a second portion of the qubit capacitor coupled to the ground. The quantum circuit can further include a readout resonator configured to measure a state of the qubit structure. The quantum circuit can further include a capacitive coupling between the readout resonator and the qubit structure and an inductive coupling between the readout resonator and the inductor of the qubit structure. A coupling strength of the inductive coupling and a coupling strength of the capacitive coupling can be approximately equal in magnitude.
Abstract: A ball mount for measuring tongue weight of a trailer is disclosed. The ball mount can include a ball portion having a hitch ball configured to couple with a tongue of a trailer. The ball mount can also include a hitch portion for interfacing with a hitch receiver associated with a vehicle. In addition, the ball mount can include a load measurement device associated with the ball portion to determine a magnitude of a downward force on the hitch ball. The load measurement device can include a reservoir having a fluid and a piston disposed therein, and a pressure sensor in fluid communication with the reservoir. The hitch ball can be configured to exert a force on the piston, thereby affecting a pressure of the fluid in response to the downward force on the hitch ball.
Abstract: A bipolar complementary-metal-oxide-semiconductor (BiCMOS) device includes a MOS transistor including CMOS nickel silicided regions in a CMOS region, and a bipolar transistor in a bipolar region. The bipolar transistor includes a nickel silicided emitter, a collector, and a base including an intrinsic base, a link base, and a nickel silicided extrinsic base. The intrinsic base is situated between the nickel silicided emitter and the collector. A dielectric spacer separates the link base from the nickel silicided emitter. The nickel silicided extrinsic base provides an electrical connection to the link base and the intrinsic base. A nickel silicided collector sinker provides an electrical connection to the collector. The CMOS nickel silicided regions, nickel silicided emitter, nickel silicided extrinsic base, and nickel silicided collector sinker can include an additive of molybdenum (Mo) and/or platinum (Pt). A low temperature rapid thermal anneal can be performed so as to prevent deactivation of dopants.

The document content may be classified and/or separated into subparts. The subparts may be clustered and/or conflated by topic, thereby removing duplicated data while preserving the unique information in each subpart. The conflated topics may be stored in a single knowledge base, such as an enterprise knowledge graph, and/or presented in response to the request.

In certain embodiments, contacts sub-assembly utilizes a circuit board to electrically couple contacts.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices authenticate processor instructions stored by a read-only memory (ROM). In one example, a ROM stores a block of register words. The block of register words includes a first register word specifying an authentication tag and one or more register words that each specify an instruction. A security controller identifies the first register word as specifying the authentication tag and performs authentication of the authentication tag. Upon successfully authenticating the authentication tag, the security controller forwards the register words that each specify instructions to a processor for execution. Upon unsuccessfully authenticating the authentication tag, the security controller blocks the register words that each specify instructions from execution by the processor.
