Abstract: Systems and associated methods for selectively enabling and disabling a powered system include an interlock device and a control system. The interlock device may enable or disable operation of the powered system. The control system may disable operation of the powered system with the interlock device, receive at least one answer to at least one question from a user of the access device, and enable operation of the powered system with the interlock device based on the at least one answer meeting a predetermined criteria. In some cases, the control system enables or disables operation of the powered system based on a distance between an access device and the interlock device, based on a status of the powered system after enabling operation, or based on a communication status of the access device after enabling operation of the powered system.

Also disclosed herein are methods for using the compositions to treat hypertension and disorders associated therewith.
Abstract: Embodiments provide probation officers with a recidivism probability score that is to be considered in conjunction with, or as a component of, compliance-based removal decisions. The recidivism score is computed based on a weighted combination of evidence-based factors that have been shown, through machine learning and other statistical analytics, to have a strong correlation with long-term recidivism rates. Examples of such evidence-based factors include the offender's Projected Date of IID Removal, Date of IID Install, Date of last Calibration, Violation Hour, Low BAC Non-Violation, BAC Violations, IID Violations, IID Service Lockout, IID Early Morning Violations, Violation Lockouts, and Circumvention Attempts Skipped Tests.

The mirror assembly further includes a temperature display section defined on the front surface of the main panel. A positioning base is coupled to the rear surface of the main panel. The main panel is pivotably attached to the positioning base for allowing rotation about a horizontal axis and a vertical axis. A mounting harness attaches to the positioning base. The mounting harness removably attaches to the top portion of the rear vehicle seat to hold the mirror assembly in a selected lateral and vertical position on the rear vehicle seat.
Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media used by a cloud data management system for collecting data from accounts hosted by a cloud-based data warehousing system on different cloud platforms or in different cloud regions of a cloud platform. Collection of data in the multi-cloud platform and/or multi-cloud region environments may be facilitated by the on-demand creation of one or more data collection accounts. Based on the collected data, one or more recommendations, notifications, or alerts associated with usage of the data warehousing system may be generated.

Abstract: A system for 5G MICO mode operation of a vehicle during an ignition off mode includes a telematics unit and a telematics communication mode controller. The controller monitors energy consumption by the telematics unit and estimates a total energy consumption of the telematics unit through a time period. The controller further compares the total energy consumption to a first threshold energy consumption and a second threshold energy consumption and, when the total energy consumption is less than the first threshold energy consumption, operates the telematics unit in a first mode including unrestricted communication. The telematics communication mode controller, when the total energy consumption is between the first threshold energy consumption and the second threshold energy consumption, operates the telematics unit in a second MICO mode and, when the total energy consumption is greater than the second threshold energy consumption, deactivates communications by the telematics unit.

Abstract: A dot projector may include a vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL). The dot projector may include one or more collimating elements to collimate light emitted by the VCSEL. An effective focal length of the one or more collimating elements may be larger than an optics length of the dot projector. The dot projector may include an optical element including a periodic optical phase function to replicate the light after collimation by the one or more collimating elements and an aberration-correcting phase function to correct spot aberrations in a dot pattern resulting from the tiling or splitting of the light.

Abstract: Computing devices, touchpads, and related methods for adjusting a force threshold for touch input on a touchpad are disclosed. In one example, a computing device comprises a force sensing touchpad, a processor, and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive a first contact on the touchpad. An area of touch of the first contact is determined, and an adjusted force threshold for touch input is determined based at least on the area of the touch. A second contact is received on the touchpad, and a touch force of the second contact is determined. Based at least on determining that the touch force exceeds the adjusted force threshold, a touch input on the touchpad is registered.

Abstract: Disclosed is a segregating gas arrangement that generally comprises a gas segregation chamber, at least one cooling plate in the gas segregation chamber, and a carbon adsorber in an adsorption gas capturing chamber. The gas segregation chamber has a rim that when resting atop regolith defines a first interior environment. The cooling plates are in the gas segregation chamber, wherein the cooling plates are maintained at a first temperature above 5° K, which is a condensation temperature that higher temperature condensing gases will condense. The adsorption gas capturing chamber defines a second interior environment that is in communication with the first interior environment. The carbon adsorber is in the second interior environment and is maintained at a second temperature below 3° K. The carbon adsorber is configured to capture the low temperature condensing gas.
Abstract: In some embodiments, text for user consumption may be generated based on an intended user action category and a user profile. In some embodiments, an action category, a plurality of text seeds, and a profile comprising feature values may be obtained. Context values may be generated based on the feature values, and text generation models may be obtained based on the text seeds. In some embodiments, messages may be generated using the text generation models based on the action category and the context values. Weights associated with the messages may be determined, and a first text message of the messages may be sent to an address associated with the profile based on the weights. Based on a reaction value obtained in response to the first message, a first expected allocation value may be updated based on the reaction value.
Abstract: Disclosed is a modified biopolymer having the formula A-XY wherein: (a) A is a starting material selected from the group consisting of a polysaccharide, a protein and a cellulose; (b) X is a first moiety bearing a functionality co-reactive with A; (c) Y is a second moiety covalently bound to X, capable of undergoing free radical polymerization and bearing at least two ethylenically unsaturated functional groups; (d) the starting material A and the first moiety X are linked covalently through linkages selected from the group consisting of an ester, an amide, a urethane, a urea, a sulfonate ester, a phosphate ester and an ether; and (e) a degree of substitution of the starting material A with the first moiety X is less than 0.5 but more than 0.1. Compositions including the modified biopolymer and methods for making them are also disclosed.
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a method for using accounts with multiple profiles where the system allows a primary user to create one or more secondary user profiles. Each secondary user profile is associated with its own VCN and one or more attributes. The one or more attributes can be used to limit the spending ability of each secondary user individually with hard and soft spending limits including merchant category, overall spending, and geographic limits. Purchases by a secondary user that violate the soft limits may be allowed by the primary user using an application associated with the primary account number. Attributes can be assembled by the primary user to create specific and creative spending limits. The system associates each transaction with the user profile using the specific VCN and generates a GUI for the primary user showing the second user profile, its current balance, and transaction history.
Abstract: To provide dynamic generation and suggestion of map tiles, a server device receives from a user device a request for map data for a particular geographic region. The server device obtains a set of user contextual data and a set of candidate map tiles associated with the particular geographic region. The server device then selects one or more of the set of candidate map tiles based on the set of user contextual data, and transmits the one or more selected map tile to the user device for display.
