Abstract: A charging handle assembly and handguard for Armalite (AR) style rifles or other similarly designed firearms is provided. The charging handle assembly includes at least one charging handle, at least one charging handle plate, and charging rod. The charging handle assembly is designed such that it is repositioned to a location, within the handguard, in front of the bolt carrier group of the firearm. More specifically, the repositioned charging handle assembly operates in a non-reciprocating fashion. When the user transitions the charging handle assembly from a first position to a second position, i.e., pulls the charging handle in a first or rearward direction within an elongated receiving slot in the hand guard, the charging rod pushes a front end of the bolt carrier group in the first direction thereby compressing the spring, such that the spring launches the bolt carrier group into a charged position thereby charging the firearm.

Abstract: Provided are methods of extracting lithium from a lithium containing solution, as well as the resulting compositions. The method includes supplying a lithium containing solution to a lithium capture step, the lithium capture step being operable to capture lithium from the lithium salt containing solution. The method further includes recovering lithium from the lithium capture step to produce a lithium rich stream. In especially preferred methods, the lithium capture step is performed to increase the lithium to sodium ratio above at least 1:1. Optionally, the lithium rich stream can be purified to remove divalent ions and borate ions. The lithium rich stream is then concentrated by supplying the lithium rich stream to a reverse osmosis step to produce a concentrated lithium rich stream.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium for providing advanced scheduling for downlink frequency division duplex (FDD) resources when sounding reference signal (SRS) transmitter switching is in progress are provided. Initially, the node receives an indication that the user equipment (UE) is sharing at least one antenna between FDD and time division duplex (TDD). The node determines the SRS periodicity for the UE. Based on the SRS periodicity, the node provides advance scheduling for downlink FDD resources when SRS transmitter switching is in progress for an FDD receive slot of the at least one antenna. For example, the node may provide downlink FDD resources to other UEs. Additionally or alternatively, the node may blank the corresponding FDD receive slots of the at least one antenna.
