Abstract: The present disclosure relates to extracting key concepts from digital content items and determining associations between the key concepts and candidate terms for use in generating and presenting a correlation graph object based on the determined associations. For example, systems described herein involve determining frequency of co-occurrence between various key concepts and applying a classification model (e.g., a zero-shot classification model) to the key concepts and candidate terms to determine associations between the key concepts and candidate terms for a given domain of interest. The systems further involve generating a graph object and processing graph queries in a way that enables fast and efficient presentation of slices of the graph object that provide a visual depiction of key concepts and edges representing associations between pairs of the key concepts.

Abstract: A system and method that uses one or more jet engines to remove unmanned aircraft from restricted airspace. Generally, the force created by a jet engine can be used to remove drones or other unwanted objects from the restricted airspace. Once the system determines the presence of an unauthorized aircraft or object within the restricted airspace, the jet engine(s) can be activated and used to pull the drone or flying object towards the jet engine though the force created by the intake of the jet engine(s), or to expel the drone or object from the restricted area through the force created by the exhaust of the jet engine(s).
Abstract: A retrieval-augmented neural transformer model with chunk cross-attention predicts a code review given a proposed source code change, represented as a code diff hunk, and a set of historical code review comments. The code diff hunk represents proposed edits to a source code snippet with its surrounding context that has not been changed. The historical code review comments are associated with code edits that are semantically similar to the proposed source code changes. The code diff hunk is partitioned into chunks which are used to find semantically similar historical code review comments. The set of historical code review comments is aggregated and used to guide the model in makings its predictions.
Abstract: A composite material system having an aggregate bound by an elastomer encapsulant. The composite material (CM) is designed to defeat impinging projectiles by converting the kinetic energy (KE) in the projectile to damage in the aggregate and the elastomer and increasing the thermal energy in the CM and the projectile via frictional heating. In one embodiment, the CM comprises certain kinds of rocks encapsulated (or bound) in a hyper-elastic polymer, such as polyurethane (“PU”). The CM may be shaped into convenient shapes from modular assembly to create a ballistic resistant surface.

Abstract: A system is provided for providing action inducers to target consumer entities. The system accesses transactions relating to actions involving a consumer entity and a provider entity. The system generates training data based on the transactions. The training data includes a feature vector for each consumer entity that includes values for features derived from the transactions involving that consumer entity and a provider entity. Each feature vector is labeled with an outcome that indicates whether a previously provided action inducer induced the consumer entity to take an action. The system trains a classifier based on the training data, generates a target feature vector for a target consumer entity, applies the classifier to the target feature vector to generate a predicted outcome for the target action inducer, and when the predicted outcome satisfies an inducement criterion, provides the target action inducer to the target consumer entity.
Abstract: A method for automatically reregistering a clone virtual machine with a cloud security monitoring service is provided. The method generally includes detecting a connection between a cloud agent running in a virtual machine on a host and a hypervisor module on the host. In response to detecting the connection, the cloud agent queries the hypervisor module for one or more first identifiers of the virtual machine. The method generally includes checking a database, by the cloud agent, for one or more second identifiers stored in the database matching the one or more first identifiers received from the hypervisor module and, based on finding no second identifiers stored in the database matching the one or more first identifiers, sending a request to the cloud security monitoring service to register the virtual machine with the cloud security monitoring service.
Abstract: Computer processing techniques are described for reducing streaks in computed tomography (CT) images. According to an embodiment, computer-implemented method comprises obtaining, by a system comprising a processor, a pair of CT images reconstructed from a same set of projection data, the pair comprising a first image reconstructed from the projection data using a standard reconstruction process and a second image reconstructed from the projection data using a filtering reconstruction process that results in the second image comprising a first reduced level of streaks relative to the first image. The method further comprises generating, by the system, a third image by fusing a first subset of pixels extracted from one or more non-uniform areas in the first image and a second subset of pixels extracted from one or more uniform areas in the second image, wherein the third image comprises a second reduced level of streaks relative to the first image.
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for display of live images. In one example, a method for motion compensation in the live images includes acquiring a first set of imaging data from a visible sector of an imaging system, the visible sector including a region of interest displayed to a user, and acquiring a second set of imaging data at an area offset from the visible sector, during the acquiring of the first set of imaging data. The second set of imaging data is used to compensate for gross motion of the region of interest resulting in displacement of at least a portion of the region of interest outside of the visible sector.
Abstract: The present systems and methods relate to a hand sanitizer system that includes a proximity detector, a dispensing system and an alarm feature, and is operative to identify potentially high risk hygiene situations corresponding to a person in proximity of the system failing to dispense antiseptic or other solution from the dispenser within a predetermined period of time after moving within a predetermined range of the detector.

Abstract: A secondary pool of VMs is used to run secondary services or jobs, which may be evicted upon failure of a corresponding primary VM. Upon detection of a failure of a primary resource, the secondary services or jobs are evicted from secondary pool resources, and the secondary pool resources can be automatically allocated to the jobs of the failed primary resource. In this regard, a secondary job may be thought of as a preemptible job and comprises services or jobs that are lower priority than the service or job on the primary resource. By using computing resources in the secondary pool to run secondary or preemptible jobs, this technology makes use of what would be otherwise idle resources. This beneficially avoids having to allocate additional and separate computing resources for secondary jobs, leads to more efficient use of network resources, and reduces costs.
