Abstract: A system for controlling assignment and management of identities in ambient electromagnetic power harvesting (AEPH) chips. The system comprises a processor; a non-transitory memory; and an application stored in the non-transitory memory that, when executed by the processor, allocates a plurality of unique AEPH identities, wherein each unique identity comprises an identity of a product item and an instance identity; stores the plurality of unique AEPH identities in a first immutable record in a datastore, wherein the unique AEPH identities are associated with an initial state; provides the plurality of unique AEPH identities to an original equipment manufacturer of AEPH chips; provides an application programming interface (API); authorizes a request to update a state associated with a first unique AEPH identity in the datastore; and adds a second immutable record to the database that associates the first unique AEPH identity with an updated state of the first unique AEPH identity.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing a merchant's set of terms and conditions that are applicable to a payment vehicle transaction. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for video decoding are provided. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that decodes prediction information of one or more blocks including a current block from a coded video bitstream. The prediction information indicates that local illumination compensation (LIC) is applied to the one or more blocks and includes LIC information of the one or more blocks. The processing circuitry determines a final scaling factor ?_f1 and a final offset ?_f1 of a first subblock in the current block based on the LIC information. The processing circuitry determines an updated first predictor subblock in a predictor corresponding to the current block based on the final scaling factor ?_f1, the final offset ?_f1, and the first predictor subblock. The workstation includes a desk having a first desk panel and a second desk panel that moves relative to the first desk panel, a display screen, and a pivot mechanism coupled to the desk and the display screen and configured to allow the desk and the display screen to pivot relative to the support structure, wherein the desk and the display screen are configured to pivot to a vehicle downward position folded together and upward deployed use positions such that the desk may extend substantially horizontal in the use position and the display screen may extend upward relative to the desk.

Synchronization is achieved based on a time of day determined using a clock signal. The output brightness and color temperature can transition from the first dimcurve to a second dimcurve over a predetermined number of scenes. The number of scenes is a function of a difference between the first dimcurve and the second dimcurve in at least one of the output brightness and the color temperature.

The randomization engine may automatically generate personalized artwork by selectively arranging a subset of the art objects and words. The randomization engine may also be configured to automatically generate a rendering of the personalized artwork, selectively save the rendering of the personalized artwork based upon a save selection by a user, and selectively generate a different rendering of the personalized artwork based upon an edit selection by the user.

Abstract: A lottery ticket dispensing unit includes at least one ticket compartment and a separation module that has a drive roller and an opposed idler roller, with a motor geared to the drive roller. An automatic separator device is provided, wherein the drive roller conveys a leading lottery ticket to a separation position such that a line between the leading ticket and an adjacent ticket is presented to the separator device. The separator device includes a shuttle that travels in a linear path along the line, the shuttle having a head that engages and separates the leading ticket from the adjacent ticket along the line. A bi-directional drive mechanism moves the shuttle back and forth along the linear path.
