Abstract: A system and method for vehicle accessibility parking including creating an accessibility profile associated with a vehicle and also creating a profile of the vehicle. Based on the profile of the vehicle and the accessibility profile, one or more parking locations are identified. The method includes a ranking, based on the profile of the vehicle and the accessibility profile, the identified one or more parking locations. The vehicle is then routed to a highest ranking identified one or more parking locations. Once routed, a sensor in the vehicle determines if a biasing of the vehicle in a parking space in the highest ranking identified one or more parking locations is required. Based on the biasing, an adjusting of a target parking position for the vehicle in the parking space is performed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for random fill caching and prefetching for secure cache memories are provided. The system dynamically de-correlates fetching a cache line to the processor from filling the cache with this cache line, due to a demand memory access, in order to provide greater security from information leakage due to cache side-channel attacks on cache memories. The system includes a random fill engine which includes a random number generator and an adjustable random fill window. Also provided is an adaptive random fill caching system which dynamically adapts the random fill window to a wide variety of computational workloads. Abstract: A damaged portion of a vehicle windshield in an area near a transparent display (TD) of a head up display (HUD) may be treated with a resin. The treated portion may introduce brightness artifacts into an image projected onto the TD. To compensate images projected onto the TD for the brightness artifacts, first pixel intensity adjustment values are received via a touchscreen. Pixels of a reference image are adjusted in accordance with the first pixel intensity adjustment values to provide a reference compensated image which, when projected by a projector of the head up display (HUD) system onto the TD, counters effects of spatially varying reflectance properties of treated portion of the windshield which would otherwise appear were the reference image displayed on the TD without compensation.

Abstract: A disinfection apparatus and method is provided for disinfecting a fluid. The apparatus elements define three internal container volumes. Fluid is introduced into an entry volume where its flow is conditioned to reduce splash and slow the fluid flow. The fluid is then channeled into a disinfection volume where a disinfection unit delivers a disinfection agent to the fluid. Finally, the fluid exits the apparatus through an exit volume. In one aspect, a sink-trap is disclosed in which wastewater liquid contacts a pair of diverters. The diverters have conditioned contact surfaces that slows and spreads the liquid flow and reduces liquid splash. The wastewater then passes through a UV chamber in which it is disinfected. The liquid then exits the sink-trap. Advanced self-cleaning apparatus are additionally disclosed to clean and disinfect the sink-trap and trapped wastewater. The entire apparatus operates under computer control.
