Abstract: A load control system for controlling a plurality of lighting loads located in a space may be configured to track the location of one or more tracked devices. The load control system may comprise a system controller, lighting control devices, e.g., for controlling a plurality of lighting loads, and tracked devices. The tracked devices may each transmit beacon messages. The lighting control devices may receive the beacon message. The lighting control devices may measure a communication quality metric of each of the beacon messages, and process the measured communication quality metrics received over a period of time to determine a processed communication quality metric for the tracked device. The lighting control devices may transmit tracking data to the system controller. The system controller may determine a location (e.g., an area location and/or a fixture location) of the tracked device.

Abstract: A method for printing a 3D part with a 3D printer includes ejecting drops of a build material from a nozzle of the 3D printer. A first plurality of the drops forms a perimeter of the 3D part, and a second plurality of the drops forms an infill of the 3D part. The method also includes controlling a parameter such that the parameter has a first value while the first plurality of the drops is ejected. The method also includes controlling the parameter such that the parameter has a second value while the second plurality of the drops is ejected, wherein the first and second values are different.

Abstract: A method of managing traffic lights that generates waves of unimpeded traffic in both directions of a roadway. The roadway is divided into an even number of zones of equal length, which are divided into two groups of alternating zones. A traffic speed and a traffic light duration are selected so that the zone length equals the traffic speed times the light duration. Initially all lights in all zones of one group are set to green, and all lights in all zones of the other group are set to red; then lights are switched in the next cycle to red for the first group and green for the other group. This pattern repeats. The arrangement of alternating zones and the relationship between zone length, speed, and light duration allows vehicles moving in either direction at the specified speed to encounter only green lights, enabling dramatic reductions in travel time.

Abstract: Autonomous vehicles utilize perception and understanding of road users and road objects to predict behaviors of the road users and road objects, and to plan a trajectory for the vehicle. Improved perception and understanding of the AV's surroundings can improve the AV's behavior around drivable objects, non-drivable road objects, construction zones, and temporary road closures. Improved perception and understanding of the AV's surroundings can also reduce the chances of the AV getting stuck and the need to be retrieved physically. To offer additional understanding capabilities, an additional understanding model is added to the perception and understanding pipeline to improve classification of road objects and extraction of attributes of the road objects. The implementation of the understanding model itself and placement of the model within the pipeline balance recall and precision performance metrics and computational complexity.

Abstract: Methods and systems to detect and manage access to sensitive information. The system retrieves a dataset of entitlements for a plurality of users. The dataset of entitlements specifies one or more respective exposure vectors. The system detects a triggering event, including a release of sensitive information to a first subset of users of the plurality of users via a first exposure vector. The system then determines a second subset of users of the plurality of users that have access to the first exposure vector based on a comparison of the first exposure vector to the dataset of entitlements. The system monitors electronic communications of the second subset of users for activity related to the sensitive information to detect first activity of a first user of the second subset of users. The system generates for display a first notification to a second user based on detecting the first activity.
