  • Patent number: 10794726
Abstract: A method of calculating a climb-dive marker (CDM) that is visibly present on a display even as the aircraft approaches a roll angle of +/?90° is provided. An exemplary CDM method comprises obtaining, an X-axis velocity, a Y-axis velocity, and a Z-axis velocity in aircraft body coordinates of an aircraft; calculating a CDM elevation; and displaying, by the controller, the calculated CDM elevation. The method can further comprise obtaining an angle of attack (AoA) of the aircraft and a roll angle of the aircraft, wherein the AoA is set as the value of the CDM elevation when the roll angle is within a preset range. The CDM elevation may also be calculated using a combination of the AOA and the CDM formula when roll angle is within a second preset range.

  • Patent number: 10796066
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure address systems and methods for shortening clock-tree wirelength based on target offsets in connected routes. A clock tree comprising routes that interconnect a plurality of clock-tree instances is accessed from memory. A clock-tree instance is selected for evaluation. A baseline power consumption measurement corresponding to a sub-tree of the clock-tree instance with the clock-tree instance at a first size is determined. An alternative power consumption measurement corresponding to the sub-tree of the clock-tree instance with the clock-tree instance at a second size is determined. Based on determining that the baseline power consumption measurement is less than the alternative power consumption measurement, the clock-tree instance is resized according to the second size.

  • Patent number: 10798309
Abstract: A method and apparatus for calculating and accounting for non-uniformity of pixels within an infrared (IR) focal plane sensor utilizing an infrared light emitting diode (IR LED) to wash out environmental infrared light is provided. The IR LED may back propagate through an optical path of an IR sensor to illuminate pixels on a focal plane array, thereby providing data by which the non-uniformity offsets may be calculated and removed for normal operation of the IR sensor.

  • Patent number: 10795927
Abstract: A method and system for providing on-demand updating of metadata information associated with clinical image data files is disclosed. The system allows for extracting, on the fly, additional metadata fields from clinical image data files and re-indexing the metadata to include the additional fields so that an end-user can perform operations (e.g., searching, browsing, etc.) based on the newly indexed fields. The metadata fields may be defined in a configurable schema file (e.g., XML, YML, etc.). The system can gain efficiencies by, for example, reading only a subset of the DICOM file (e.g., reading only the first few kilobytes that contain the header), scanning only a subset of source data folders, etc.

  • Patent number: 10798281
Abstract: Various examples of a driver monitoring apparatus and a method of disabling a driver facing camera are disclosed. A driver monitoring controller receives video images of a driver and transmits control messages to a driver facing camera. The driver monitoring controller receives a signal indicating that the driver desires to disable the driver facing camera. The driver monitoring controller receives messages indicating a vehicle state. The control logic of the driver monitoring controller disables the driver facing camera by transmitting a control message to disable the driver facing camera in response to a control input indicating the driver desires to disable the driver facing camera and a vehicle state message indicating a vehicle state does not meet a predetermined condition. The control logic of the driver monitoring controller enables the camera automatically in response to a vehicle state message indicating the vehicle state meets the predetermined condition.

  • Patent number: 10796049
Abstract: Electronic design automation systems, methods, and media are presented for a waveform propagation timing model for use with circuit designs and electronic design automation (EDA). One embodiment involves generating a gate output waveform for a circuit element using a driver input signal waveform and then generating a circuit element output waveform using the gate output waveform and an N-pole model of an interconnect with the first circuit element using moment matching. Timing values are then determined from the circuit element output waveform, such as delay and slew values. This waveform may then be propagated through the circuit, and an updated design generated using the timing values estimated from the modeled waveforms.

  • Patent number: 10794445
Abstract: A dispensing pump includes a polymer compression spring assembly. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The polymer compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The first loading cone is fixed relative to the pump base while the second loading cone is axially movable with the piston stem and dispensing head. The tubular spring element is disposed coaxially about the piston stem between the cones. When the dispensing head is compressed, the loading cones axially compress toward each other whereby the slotted tubular spring element radially expands to create an opposing contraction force, and in turn, an axial extension force. When released, the spring element elastically contracts to its at rest shape, returning the loading cones and dispensing head to their at rest positions.
