Abstract: A vehicle barrier system that prevents “tailgating”. The system may include a control system in communication with a sensor system for detecting a vehicle seeking passage through a gateway, as well as a first and second gate system. The control system receives data from the sensor system indicating the presence of the vehicle and, in response, determines whether the second gate system is closed. When the second gate is determined to be closed, the control system opens the first gate system to allow the vehicle to pass the first gate system and attempts to close the first gate system behind the vehicle after the vehicle passes the first gate system. In response to successfully closing the first gate system behind the vehicle, the second gate system is opened to allow the vehicle to proceed through the gateway. Otherwise, an alarm is sounded.

Abstract: Systems and methods to predict and present availability and value of retail spaces in shopping malls. Robots are dispatched to temporary retail spaces to collect at least a portion of operation data stored in a database with leasing data of temporary retail spaces in a mall, tenant coordination data, and subscriber data. A web-based application predicts availability of the temporary retail spaces in the mall based on the leasing data, the tenant coordination data, and the operation data. The web-based application includes an interactive plan of the mall as a user interface for subscribers to access data related to the temporary retail spaces, and process applications for leasing the temporary retail spaces.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for providing an individualized transaction conversation within a retailer network. A notification of a triggering event related to a customer and one or more retailers within the retailer network is received, then a database of customer profiles is accessed to match a customer profile with customer identity information. A message type is determined based on the triggering event, and a preferred messaging channel for the customer is determined based on the customer profile information. A message template is selected based on the message type and messaging channel determined, and an individualized transaction conversation is initiated via the preferred messaging channel. A customer interaction is received, and a response to the interaction is dynamically generated based on the message template and customer profile.

An individualized transaction message is then generated, the message including the one or more individualized product recommendations.

When a mobile device detects the identifier of a device placed at a known location and the identifier of a device attached to the package, the location of the package is identified and recorded based on the known location of the device. Navigational guidance is provided to a mobile device of a user to reach the package based on the recorded location of the package and/or the location of any of the devices the mobile device can detect within the communication range from the current location of the mobile device.
