Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a system and method for the dynamic provisioning of static content. In one embodiment, information presented on a content delivery system can be refreshed based on information published on a content management system. One embodiment can interface the content delivery system and the content management system at the page level. More specifically, content dependencies across pages employing the same content or portion(s) thereof can be tracked in a timely, accurate manner. Upon receiving a notification of a change to the content or a portion thereof from the content management system, a content generation system may operate to determine, based on the dependencies, what pages are affected by the change and, based on the determination, dynamically regenerate any and all affected pages. The regenerated pages may then be stored and/or pushed to the web tier for delivery to end users.

Abstract: A message broker system can include a message broker. The message broker can be configured to receive the message instances output as input message instances, store the input message instances in a message store, alter the structure or content of the input message instances according to a message brokering model to generate output message instances and provide output message instances to one or more downstream processors. According to one embodiment, input message stream processing can be decoupled from output message stream processing by the message broker.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to systems and methods for the delivery and maintenance of faxes where the faxes may remain at a faxing system for a minimal amount of time. The faxing system may send a queued fax to a connector responsive to a request from the connector to pull or retrieve a fax. The connector is configured to send a release notification to the faxing system after the fax is received. The faxing system is configured to delete the queued fax as soon as confirmation of the delivery of the fax can be determined or when an expiration time has elapsed.

Abstract: A search system can maintain a search index of metadata and text for objects in a repository, repositories or distributed across a network. The search index can be divided into partitions with a partition assigned a first capacity utilization threshold and a second capacity utilization threshold. If the capacity utilization of the partition is below the first threshold, the system can add, update and delete information in the partition. If the capacity utilization of the partition is above the first threshold, the system can update and delete information in the partition, but cannot add information for new objects to the partition. If the capacity utilization of the partition is above the second threshold, the system can enter a rebalancing mode in which it seeks to rebalance capacity utilization between partitions. The behavior of the system can change depending upon the size of a partition relative to its configurable thresholds.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a system and method for searching and reporting on semistructured data that can include dynamic metadata. One embodiment can comprise providing a user interface to a user based on an object type definition for an object type that allows the user to specify search criteria associated with a set of metadata, mapping the user search criteria to a query that comprises at least one structured query constraint and at least one unstructured query constraint, processing the query to search a set of data objects containing semistructured data associated with the object type according to the query and returning a set of results to the user. The search results can be returned to a user based on user-specified reporting parameters. Additionally, the reporting definition can be saved as an object for future execution.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for browsing offline and queried content are presented herein. Specifically, embodiments may receive a request for content from a mobile application. Embodiments may also determine whether the requested content is in a cache associated with the mobile application. If it is determined that the content is not in the cache, embodiments may deliver the requested content to the mobile application.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a consistent flow documents and data content across different organizational units of a company or agency where the documents and data come from different enterprise systems and data stores but are related to linked processes that share models for organizing the content in the business context and in a format that enables a user to relate the content to the process step or steps they are performing. The system includes a network service that enables a configuration utility to automatically discover the objects and metadata and provides for a mapping of selected fields of the metadata to regions displayed in the user interface view with provision for filtering the data by mapping selected fields to a user input form. Thereby, a business analyst can create solutions without writing and maintaining complex program logic for each combination of presentation environment, enterprise system and data store.

Abstract: At least one embodiment includes a system for managing objects. The system may be configured to provide a set of objects in a repository with associated metadata including workflow metadata and an application program interface. The system may determine a first region of interest in a graphical user interface, the first region of interest corresponding to a first time range. The system may retrieve metadata for a first set of objects having workflow metadata indicating at least one event will occur within the first time range, create a first set of nodes representing the first set objects, display the first set of nodes based on a time characteristic of the workflow metadata associated with the at least one event, and perform an action on a corresponding object from the first set of objects.

Abstract: A file-mapping method and system can better manage the number of items (i.e., files, subdirectories, or a combination of them) within any single directory within a storage medium. The method and system can be used to limit the number of items within the directory, direct content and content components to different directories, and provide an internally recognizable name for the filename. When searching the storage medium, time is not wasted searching what appears to be a seemingly endless list of filenames or subdirectory names within any single directory. A client computer can have requests for content fulfilled quicker, and the network site can reduce the load on hardware or software components. While the method and system can be used for nearly any storage media, the method and system are well suited for cache memories used with web servers.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods provide a client-server infrastructure capable of supporting a variety of asynchronous and synchronous collaboration activities in a so-called collaboration place. Some of these activities include chatting, viewing and/or editing one or more data files, and sharing one or more applications, data files, and/or displays. The client-server infrastructure supports seamless navigation between the supported asynchronous and synchronous activities in the collaboration place. Additionally, the client-server architecture supports data persistence, so that data files associated with the collaboration place can be stored for subsequent access.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a high performance content delivery system in which versions of content are cached for servicing web site requests containing the same uniform resource locator (URL). When a page is cached, certain metadata is also stored along with the page. That metadata includes a description of what extra attributes, if any, must be consulted to determine what version of content to serve in response to a request. When a request is fielded, a cache reader consults this metadata at a primary cache address, then extracts the values of attributes, if any are specified, and uses them in conjunction with the URL to search for an appropriate response at a secondary cache address. These attributes may include HTTP request headers, cookies, query string, and session variables. If no entry exists at the secondary address, the request is forwarded to a page generator at the back-end.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for tracking documents in a computing environment, including documents stored locally on computing devices. A monitoring module stored on a computing device may determine that a user is trying to open a document stored locally on the computing device and communicate a signature associated with the document to a document tracking system. A document tracking system may compare the signature with a set of stored signatures to see if the document corresponds to a document already being tracked. If the document is not being tracked already, the document tracking system may upload the document into the system, send a link to a newer version or determine one or more actions to be performed on the document based on the signature.

Abstract: An information integration system may include a set of integration services embodied on one or more server machines in a computing environment. The set of integration services may include connectors communicatively connected to disparate information systems. The connectors may be configured for integrating data stored in the disparate information systems utilizing a common model employed by the set of integration services. The common model may overlay, augment, integrate, or otherwise utilize a content management interoperability services data model and may include common property definitions and a common security model. The common security model may include permissions particularly defined for use by the set of integration services. These common property definitions and permissions may be uniquely defined and utilized by the information integration system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for collaborative authentication of a person based on an interaction with another person. A request for collaborative authentication is sent to the computing device of a person wanting to access a system, including an authentication ID unique to the request. The person collaborates with another person associated with the system and provides the second person with the authentication ID. The second person sends the authentication ID to the system such that the system associates the second person with the first person. Data is sent to the second person in order to challenge the first person. The first person responds to the challenge using the computing device and the system receives the response. The system compares the response to an expected answer and can either allow or deny the first person access to the system based on the comparison. Co-location may also be verified.

Abstract: Embodiments of content assessment systems are provided herein. A content assessment system may gather metadata of content objects and process the content objects to extract targeted content of interest from the unstructured content of the content objects or to provide an indication of the content objects that include the target content of interest. The metadata and target content of interest can be stored as structured data in a content assessment repository. The structured content assessment data can be accessed to identify content assets for processing including migration of content assets.

Abstract: Systems and methods for invalidating and regenerating pages. In one embodiment, a method can include detecting content changes in a content database including various objects. The method can include causing an invalidation generator to generate an invalidation based on the modification and communicating the invalidation to a dependency manager. A cache manager can be notified that pages in a cache might be invalidated based on the modification via a page invalidation notice. In one embodiment, a method can include receiving a page invalidation notice and sending a page regeneration request to a page generator. The method can include regenerating the cached page. The method can include forwarding the regenerated page to the cache manager replacing the cached page with the regenerated page. In one embodiment, a method can include invalidating a cached page based on a content modification and regenerating pages which might depend on the modified content.

The configurable queue processor strives to allocate server resources in an optimal manner such that document servers can process documents efficiently. In various embodiments, the facility includes a configurable queue processor for allocating document flows for handling documents, document transport module for transporting documents between network devices, such as printers, fax boards, and content servers and across local and wide-area networks; functionality for routing optimization with other communications networks, such as messaging services, telephony, and IP networks; and flexible document transport capabilities to workflow applications and multifunction devices (such as all-in-one print/scan/copy/fax/telephone/answering machine devices) and multifunction devices enhanced with video & video capture, messaging, email, network router & gateway capabilities.

Abstract: A system includes a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions translatable by the processor. The instructions when translated by the processor cause the system to perform, including determining an exemplar reference which identifies a managed object stored in a repository residing in an enterprise computing environment. The system can determine a translation group utilizing the exemplar reference. The managed object may represent a content item. The translation group may include the content item and the content item may be multilingual enabled. The system can determine an effective locale for a request for content received from a client device communicatively connected to a web server in the enterprise computing environment, determine a language that is appropriate for the effective locale, and respond to the request for content with the content item or a translation of the content item that is in the language appropriate for the effective locale.
