Abstract: Drainage of body fluid from an area of undesirably high pressure can be accomplished by interconnecting an artificial non-blood fluid conduit with the vascular system. For example, an artificial non-blood fluid conduit can be inserted into the eye to fluidly interconnect the anterior chamber with a location of lower pressure. The conduit can have a growth factor for stimulating growth of new blood vessels in the location of lower pressure to connect the new blood vessels with the non-blood fluid conduit.
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method of authorizing the establishment of a peer-to-peer stream between two user terminals of a mobile telecommunications network. The method is implemented in a platform of the mobile telecommunications network and comprises receiving, from a server of a peer-to-peer service provider, a request to establish a peer-to-peer stream between a first user terminal and a second user terminal, the establishment request including a stream identifier, the stream identifier including at least an identifier of the first user terminal and an identifier of the second user terminal. Abstract: A terminal receives a digital content which is transmitted in the form of a data stream in a network. This digital content is received by the terminal with a reception throughput, a nominal rendering time being associated with the digital content. Activation of a trick mode corresponding to a modification of the nominal rendering time according to a modification factor associated with the trick mode is detected on the terminal. Data to be requested are then determined according to the modification factor and according to a value representative of reception throughput. The data are then requested from the network and the requested data are received.

Abstract: A method is provided for communication, which is implemented by an interfacing device of a server of a first network for distributing digital content. The method includes: receiving a content ingestion request emitted by a device of a second network for distributing content, with a view to storage of the content in the second distribution network; and when the first distribution network is not able to respond to the request, dispatching an enquiry destined for at least one third network for distributing content, requesting a transfer of the content to the second distribution network. The first distribution network delegates the transfer of the content. The third distribution network then transfers the digital content to the second content distribution network.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of grouping transmitter-receiver pairs for communicating over a communications network. For each group of a set of groups of transmitter-receiver pairs, the pairs of the group execute an iterative interference alignment technique for I1 iterations on signals transmitted by the group. Each transmitter of the group successively sends a pilot signal that has been precoded by a matrix resulting from that execution. Each receiver of the group evaluates a metric representative of a distance between a vector subspace generated by the pilot signal transmitted by the transmitter with which it forms a pair and a vector subspace generated by interferences determined from the pilot signals transmitted by the other transmitters. A central unit calculates a global metric associated for each group on the basis of the metrics from the receivers of the group and selects from the set a group that optimizes the global metric.
