Abstract: In one embodiment, a security method for making secure a computer application being executed on a terminal is disclosed. In one embodiment the security method comprises obtaining information to the effect that the application is about to invite a user of the terminal to input data, accessing a binary file representative of a secret image known to the user of the terminal, the binary file being stored in a secure element of the terminal, constituting a complex image in the secure element, the complex image being obtained from the secret image and from dynamic data that is inaccessible to said terminal, and displaying the complex image on a screen of the terminal.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system configured to electronically store dish information on tags coupled with storage containers. The system may include near field communication components that facilitate an improved meal preparation and/or meal storage experience for users. Containers (e.g., cups, bowls, plates, etc.) may be coupled with an individual tag that is configured to electronically store information about the container, the contents of the container, and/or other information. By including such components in the system a given container coupled with a corresponding tag may become “smart.” For example, a sensor included in a scale may recognize a tag and/or determine information related to the contents of the container when the container is placed on and/or near the scale.

Abstract: One embodiment disclosed herein relates to a routing method performed by a unit forming a node in a network made up of a plurality of nodes, the method comprising receiving or generating a message including destination geographical position data representing the geographical position of a destination node of the message and transmitting the message to a neighboring node selected from a plurality of neighboring nodes as a function of the destination geographical position and as a function of a location table, the location table including the geographical position of at least one neighboring node. In some embodiments, the method comprises receiving path data from a neighboring node on board a first vehicle, the path data representing a planned path for the first vehicle and updating the location table as a function of the path data.

Abstract: One embodiment disclosed herein serves to establish a trust relationship for sharing resources between a trustee tenant and a trustor tenant in a cloud network. It comprises receiving a requirement file (REQ) from the trustee tenant said file including at least one permission desired by the tenant, searching for and identifying at least one opportunity file sent by a trustor tenant, this file including at least the permissions, and storing information representative of a trust relationship for sharing resources between the tenants.

Abstract: A method is provided for processing an error during restitution of digital content during a multimedia session on a terminal. The session offers a plurality of representations of the digital content which are described in a medium carrying information describing the multimedia session and transmitted independently of the representation data. The method includes, following the obtaining of the description-carrying medium, acts of obtaining, for at least one representation indicated in the description information-carrying medium, at least one item of information regarding guarantee of availability of the data of the representation on a server; of comparing the information regarding guarantee of availability of the data of the representation on the server with at least one predetermined value; of selecting a fallback representation as a function of the result of the comparison, and upon detecting a restitution error, of toggling to the fallback representation selected.

Abstract: A method for communication between a first web application associated with a first browsing domain and a second web application associated with a second browsing domain. The browser-implemented applications record data from a browser software module and prohibit access to data recorded for selective browsing domains. The browser concurrently displays at least two sub-pages of an initial web page, a first sub-page being used for displaying a user interface for the first web application, a second sub-page being used for displaying a user interface for the second web application being executed independently of the first web application. A first software module of the first web application stores data in a database which is read by a second software module of the second web application, the first and second software modules being associated with a third browsing domain.

Abstract: A shell for a mobile telephone able to comprise a subscriber identity card. The mobile telephone has, on the one hand, a front face exhibiting a user interface and, on the other hand, a rear face. The shell has an internal surface and an external surface. This shell has a suitable shape adapted for removably receiving the mobile telephone so that the rear face of the mobile telephone is held along the internal surface of the shell. The internal surface comprises: a first means adapted for holding a near-field communication device and an antenna associated therewith; and a second means adapted for guiding at least a portion of a wire-based interface intended to link the near-field communication device to the subscriber identity card.

Abstract: Disclosed is a transmission method of transmitting at least one multicarrier signal made up of OFDM-OQAM symbols to a receive antenna of a receiver device, the transmission method being for use by a transmitter device having at least one transmit antenna. In one embodiment, the method comprises, for each transmit antenna of the transmitter device, filtering OFDM-OQAM symbols associated with the transmit antenna using a time-reversal prefilter defined from an estimate of the transmission channel between the transmit antenna and the receive antenna and transmitting the filtered OFDM-OQAM symbols via the transmit antenna over the transmission channel.

Generally, the system contains an elongated portion being a coaxial tube having a hollow center, an arm being coaxial in shape, and a sensor containing a transmitter capable of creating and transmitting an excitation electromagnetic pulse for traversing the elongated portion and the arm, and a receiver for receiving reflected pulses, wherein a proximate end of the elongated portion joins a distal end of the arm in a manner to create a waveguide for an electromagnetic pulse provided by the sensor.

Abstract: Disclosed are hybrid conference bridges capable of selectively operating in a replicating mode or a mixing mode based on the number of terminals in an audio conference capable of supporting the replicating mode. A disclosed conference bridge connects a plurality of terminals in an audio conference and includes a replicating-mode operating module, a mixer-mode operating module, and a management module to activate at least one of the operating modules depending on the number of terminals having sufficient capabilities to support the replicating mode.

Abstract: One embodiment is a device having an elongate pliable screen has first and second connection elements that connect together to hold, in a looped shape, a substrate carrying the screen, a receiver unit that receives notifications coming from an external appliance, and a control unit that causes received notifications to be rendered using a first rendering mode or a second rendering mode. The control unit detects the connection state of the first and second connection elements and causes a received notification to be rendered in the first or the second rendering mode as a function of the detected connection state between the connection elements. The first and second rendering modes may comprise respectively: displaying a symbolic or abridged picture indicative of the received notification, or displaying the content of a message conveyed by the received notification, depending on whether the first and second connection elements are connected together or disconnected.

Abstract: A signal transponder transceiving signals using different communication protocols has a control module, a receiving module and a transmitting module. The control module is electrically connected to the receiving module and the transmitting module, is built in with multiple communication protocols, decodes a tire pressure signal transmitted from and encoded by an external tire pressure sensor with one of the communication protocols, encodes the decoded information to a new tire pressure signal, and further transmits the new tire pressure signal to a tire pressure receiver. Accordingly, there is no failure in decoding and transmissions and cost increase when the signal transponder communicates with tire pressure sensors and a tire pressure receiver using two different communication protocols.
