  • Patent number: 6922072
Abstract: A crosstalk inhibition unit which can inhibit crosstalk without causing an enlargement of a signal processing apparatus. A crosstalk inhibition unit 10 in order to inhibit crosstalk is provided to a signal processing apparatus. The crosstalk inhibition unit 10 is comprised of a contact terminal detection means 8 for detecting whether a contact terminal 7b of a signal cable 7 is inserted to an external terminal 5b of the signal processing apparatus and a first switching element 2 which operates differently depending on whether the contact terminal detection means 8 detects the contact terminal 7b. When the contact terminal detection means 8 does not detect the contact terminal 8, the first switching element 2 becomes conductive, and a signal line 15b is grounded. Thus, the cable 7 is not connected, and a signal line 15b, which is not used for signal processing is grounded. Accordingly, without particularly providing a grounded line, crosstalk between signal lines 15a, 16 and 19 can be inhibited.

  • Publication number: 20050157889
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic device with external speaker in which the speaker can be readily attached/detached and loose connection can be prevented even when the speaker is attached/detached repeatedly. A locking hook 33 of an external speaker 30 is inserted into a locking hole 16 of a cabinet 11, and a connecting terminal 37 provided in the cabinet 11 is inserted into a connecting jack 20 provided in the external speaker 30. The connecting jack 20 is pressed by the biasing force of a spring 23 serving as an biasing means, and is held on a position engaged to the connecting terminal 37. Then, the external speaker 30 is moved by sliding to lock the locking hook 33 into the locking hole 16. At this point, the connecting jack 20 moves along the moving direction of the external speaker 30 against the spring 23. Hence, it is possible to connect a connector pin 38 of the connecting terminal 37 without interfering with the sliding movement of the external speaker 30.

  • Publication number: 20050156818
Abstract: The present invention provides an on-screen display device capable of freely changing a display position, coloration of a display color, and brightness level and moving the display position simply and speedily. When a clock and channel are displayed on-screen and superimposed on an image signal, it is possible to receive a remote control signal from a remote control device 9 and arbitrarily change the display position, display color, and brightness through an OSD position control section 2, OSD color control section 3, and OSD brightness control section 4 of a microcomputer 1. This makes it possible to display the display position of the clock or channel, etc., at an optimum position easily viewable to a user and adjust the display color and brightness in an easily viewable manner. When changing the display position, the display position of a character is moved to an area of a screen 20 assigned to a number key beforehand by operating number keys of the remote control device 9.

  • Publication number: 20050132387
Abstract: The invention provides an electronic apparatus to which a circuit board is attached so that noise caused by a drive unit can be prevented. The electronic apparatus includes a drive unit 2 and a circuit board 5 mounted with electronic components 4 for controlling the drive unit 2. Conductive circuit patterns are formed on both sides of the circuit board 5, and the electronic components 4 are mounted only on one surface of the circuit board 5. The circuit board 5 is attached to the electronic apparatus with anon-mounting surface thereof faced to the drive unit 2, whereby noise caused by the drive unit 2 is blocked by the circuit board 5. Consequently, it is possible to reduce noise of the drive unit 2 from affecting the electronic components 4 mounted on the circuit board 5. In addition, since the non-mounting surface of the circuit board 5 is faced to the drive unit 2 side, the freedom of design on the device side is improved.
