Abstract: A metal-to-the-floor linkage mechanism provides backrest recline and ottoman extension for a seating unit. The linkage mechanism has a base and a pair of seat mounting plates that are used to attach a seat to the mechanism. The linkage mechanism comprises a first and a second plurality of links that are each pivotally coupled between the base and a corresponding one of the pair of seat mounting plates. The first and second plurality of links moveably interconnect the base and the seat mounting plates to control movement of the seating unit between closed, TV, reclined and fully-reclined positions. In the fully-reclined position, the seat mounting plates are moved to a position by the first plurality of links and the second plurality of links to place the seat of the seating unit at an angle relative to horizontal of between eighteen and twenty-six degrees.

Abstract: A pocketed spring assembly comprises a plurality of parallel strings of springs, each string joined to at least one adjacent string, each string comprising one piece of fabric folded into first and second opposed plies of fabric. Outer pockets are formed along each string by transverse seams joining the first and second plies. One pocketed spring and at least cushion pad is positioned in each outer pocket. The cushion pad may be individually pocketed. An upper end of each transverse seam may be below an upper surface of the string to partially separate adjacent outer pockets within a string.
Abstract: A flexible foam composition includes a flexible foam body having a surface, which flexible foam is polyurethane and/or latex flexible foam, and an expandable graphite layer on the surface or within the foam surface adjacent to the surface. The flexible foam composition with the expandable graphite layer imparts improved flame retardant properties to the composition.

The handle having an elongated tiller having an upper portion including at least one steering handgrip member and an upward extending wall surrounding electrical contacts associated with operator control functions. The tiller head plug-in module includes a housing having a downward extending wall surrounding electrical contacts, with the housing supporting a plurality of operator control interface elements, including at least one lift control element, and at least drive control element. The tiller head plug-in module is configured to be removably electrically connected to the handle when the upward extending wall surrounding the electrical contacts of the upper portion of the tiller is plugged into and received by the downward extending wall surrounding the electrical contacts of the housing.

Abstract: A control circuit having extended hold-up time is coupled to a bus path of a conversion circuit. The control circuit includes a bypass circuit, an energy storage capacitor, and an auxiliary power circuit. The auxiliary power circuit supplies an energy storage voltage to the energy storage capacitor according to a working voltage provided by the conversion circuit. When a bus voltage of the bus path is less than or equal to the energy storage voltage, the energy storage voltage is supplied to the bus path through the bypass circuit so that the bus voltage is greater than or equal to a predetermined voltage within a hold-up time.
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for irradiating a target. The system includes a particle accelerator configured to at least emit an irradiation beam along an axis, a target-holder mounting outside the accelerator, a radiation-protection enclosure surrounding the target-holder mounting, and a deflection device. The particle accelerator is positioned outside the enclosure. The target-holder mounting includes at least one port configured to receive a target holder for a target to be irradiated. The target-holder mounting is stationary relative to the particle accelerator. The port is offset relative to the axis of the irradiation beam. The deflection device is positioned in the radiation-protection enclosure and is configured to divert the irradiation beam towards the port of the target holder in which the target to be irradiated is inserted.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to transfer content from a first computing device to a second computing that is not directly accessible from the first computing device. The transfer may be carried out using an application operating on the first computing device that uploads the content to the cloud storage service. The second computing device may operate an application that monitors the cloud storage service for recently uploaded content. When the second computing device detects that content has been uploaded to the cloud storage service, the second computing device may download the content. The second computing device may update a manifest file located on the cloud storage service to indicate that the content was downloaded. Subsequently, the first computing device may access the manifest file and determine that content was downloaded.

Abstract: An expandable introducer with embodiments that may include a fastener, tubular member, sleeve and combinations thereof. The sleeve may have a wall with an inner surface and an outer surface. The sleeve may include a slit through the wall, which may allow the sleeve to be decreased in diameter for implantation and/or increased in diameter after implantation for alignment. The sleeve may include two slits in the tubular wall thereby forming two semi-tubular members. Abstract: A comfort layer for a bedding or seating product has slow-acting pockets characterized by the individual mini coil springs of the comfort layer being pocketed with either semi-impermeable or impermeable fabric. Each weld seam joining opposed plies of fabric around each of the coil springs of the comfort layer may be segmented, allowing air to flow between the segments, thereby increasing the luxury “feel” of the comfort layer. The method of making the comfort layer includes compressing the mini coil springs and creating pockets with a welding horn and an anvil.
Abstract: In some examples, a computing device includes a first display device coupled to a second display device by a hinge. The computing device may use a facial recognition application to analyze image data from an imaging sensor in a bezel of the second display device to determine that the image data excludes a face of the user and determine that the second display device is not being viewed by the user. The computing device may determine an amount of ambient light falling on the second display device based on an ambient light sensor in the bezel of the second display device. A graphical image, such as a corporate logo, may be displayed on the second display device with a particular brightness amount that is determined based on the amount of the ambient light falling on the second display device.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing device may predict, using a machine learning module, scenarios and transactions associated with a usage of a software package. The computing device may select at least a portion of the scenarios and the transactions to cover a predetermined percentage of a predicted usage of the software package. The computing device may select a subset of unit test cases (e.g., created by software designers to test software units that are components of the software package) and execute the test cases to generate test results to determine whether the software package is ready to be deployed to customers. The computing device may train the machine learning module using at least one of the test results, the portion of the scenarios and the transactions, or the test cases. The test results may be evaluated to determine an effectiveness of the set of test cases.
